This is a review that I posted four or five years ago, but I noticed a typo, so I edited to fix it, and it shows the review as being more recent than it was. Gray and Son recently repaved the roads in our neighborhood. They seemed to be very courteous to the residents when they needed to drive past the equipment and get to their homes. They kept our roadway clean even in the middle of the work. It also seemed to me that they did the job fairly efficiently and quickly, even despite a few delays due to rainy weather. Then there is the great quality of their work. We had a few areas of non-level pavement where we would get standing water, and when the job was finished, everything was smooth and level and perfect. After finishing the job, everything was promptly and quickly cleaned up and left in perfect condition. Better than before they started! I am glad that the county chose this company to repave the roads in our neighborhood!

I saw a few negative reviews here, and that does not seem like the company, or at least not the crew, that worked in our neighborhood. But, sometimes, there is no way to please some people, especially when they have to wait a few minutes to be able to drive past.

I hope that they also do resident driveway paving, because when we need to get our driveway repaved, eventually, they will be the first company that I ask for an estimate.

Its a complete inconvience and i wouldnt recommend these to anyone. They are paving the road outside of where I live and its seems like they only work one day a week and jump around from spot to spot on the road. Why no just fix one part of the road and then move to the next? Also what about everyone that has to live in that development is no supposed to stop what their doing for a day because of work being done? Work on the road didnt need to be done in the first place and its nothing but tearing up the bottom of the cars that drive on the road because of all the loose rocks and gravel.

This is by far the WORSE Demolition company I’ve had used in my whole career, they are lazy, irresponsible and NOT SAFE AT ALL.
The foreman sleeps all day in the company truck and the labors stay all day on their phones and sitting all day.
The sent seven different crews to my project and from those seven only one was ok.

The lack of SAFETY is terrible as well as the production, they cut the main ELECTRIC LIVE feed not one time but multiple times, the list of damages is long, They have two safety guys who are a joke don’t know the basics of OSHA regulations and lazy enough to not keep an eye on their employees to correct all the safety violations.

They hold all the other trades because they don’t do their job and when they do it, they do it wrong, damaging whatever is supposed to remain.
I never had a ridiculous bad company like this before, unbelievable !

Just wanted to say the crew that are repaving Harford Road are the most professional, friendly and hard working bunch of guys!! I have watched them for the past 3 weeks do an awesome job!! Management should be very proud of their employees!! Great job Gray and Sons!!

The resurfacing of Old Westminster Pike was superbly done. The crew had to work around very busy traffic but they did so safely and efficiently. The finished surface is smooth and seamless. The many driveway openings and intersections were finished with great attention to detail. Just drive it and see for yourself.

I’m not sure what it’s like to work for this company, but this company is terrible when it comes to how they do their work in the field. I don’t know what they did, but what they did do is mess up the gas line to our house. We have been without gas services for 3 days now because of something they did while working. We have no hot water to shower with and we have to eat out or eat microwave food because of their error. When my husband explained our concerns to the field manager, he basically brushed him off as if to say oh well and walked away when his workers were the one who messed up the gas line. They’ve dug up my mailbox which is ok because I expect them to put it back when they’re done their work here, but to leave your dirty Dunkin Donuts, and 7-Eleven Coffee cups on my mailbox and on the ground on my property is rude. I don’t care for this company at all.

they make no attempt to allow traffic to flow, easily a 15 min wait every time you come across them. this company must be managed by a half witted pole smoker. when the group in question isn't doing I, it may have been this s job it does fall back to the one that issued the order and the ones doing that are incompetent, lazy and possible a garbage human being. if you ever waited 15 mins for a road crew without moving rate these places 1 star. effect the business they try to run as they make it their duty to effect yours.

the only way they can improve is for management to step don't or 1 star them into obscurity. Grey and sons, F U

I just saw the video on TikTok of your guys working and letting the little kid join in! Amazing I am so happy they let him do that! You have an awesome crew with them! I would love to buy them all a beer for making that little guys dream come true!!!!
