We love the whole Georgetown Development team! Brandon and Michelle specifically are just the best people to work with!! They were essential is building our dream home and made every step of the process simple and easy. When designing our custom home they allowed us to voice our opinion on what we wanted but then used their expert knowledge to make it even better! They truly care about their clients and work tirelessly behind the scenes and always go above and beyond what a normal builder would do. All the sub contractors that work with them were wonderful and efficient in their various areas of expertise, and our foreman Eric was truly amazing! We would definitely recommend Georgetown Development to anyone that is wanting to build a beautiful home!

We have been in our new home for 6 months, and couldn't be happier. We were first time home builders during COVID (after owning many 'existing' homes over the years), which made things challenging for Georgetown. However, the process was generally positive, and the end product terrific. Everyone at Georgetown was responsive to our questions, concerns, etc., from the front office, to drafting, to the owner. But I must give a special mention to the site supervisor and his team, who were amazing, accommodating, and responsive. We still have a few loose ends to tie up, but I am just as confident in the remaining 1% getting done with professionalism, as I have experienced it with the current 99% we are living in. Thank you, Georgetown!

Georgetown was easy to talk with about our building interests.
They listened to our financial concerns. Our build took nine months and finished on schedule. We appreciate the quality work in their construction. Communication during construction was sometimes difficult but improved as the project progressed. Overall we are very satisfied and would recommend Whisper Rock and Georgetown Development. Thanks for our beautiful new home!

We loved working with Georgetown. We're regularly telling each other, and other people, how much we enjoy our townhome. Brandon and Michelle proved immensely helpful in the decision-making process and guided us as we made the home what we wanted it to be. As a result, we have a home where we love to spend lots of time. Our home was completed a few months before the pandemic and we have felt so fortunate to have such a comfortable, beautiful, and functional space to call home during this time. Georgetown Development built our barn next to our home. Our barn required specific design considerations and requirements and Georgetown took care of the engineering, design, architecture and construction. From the specialized footings, truss design, building code requirements that were strange and ultimately making it blend in with our home as well as the community. They did it all and it turned out beautifully and we use it almost daily. Thanks to Georgetown it was a exciting experience for our family and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. A great, great barn!

Where do I begin? Ultimately I am happy with my home- the finished product is acceptable (so far- I worry about warranty issues- read on) but dealing with the owner/builder who also serves as the General Contractor to his homes was NOT a good experience. At first glance, his role of oversight and control of his product and reputation should be a great thing- but in my own experience and opinion this is Not the case! After closing, should a builder not assist in fixing a simple problem, easy request to connect- wire the CAD-6 option paid for? Is it right for him to wash his hands of an option he installed half way, refusing to send his electrician over, insisting it’s not his problem or responsibly, and Hanging up the phone on me? Consequently, I was forced to hired my own electrician for the cost of $250 to do what should have been supported in warranty or included in buying this option.
Georgetown took 8+ months to build with continuous excuses about the delays and made Construction mistakes that prevented timely city inspections and Permit approvals. Buyer beware. Ultimately this builder cuts corners and is way over priced for his product. If I could do it over, I would choose a different builder! I will be happy to retract my overall rating of this builder if at the end of my first year -under warranty issues are satisfactorily addressed.

We went with Georgetown Development for out new townhome. I give 3 starts because I know they did the best they could with the shortage supply, however I did not feel they did very good at updating us. The final product was a good quality. It took longer than expected, but I think everyone is going through that right now. Upgrade option were not great, so we went with basic. They were not that good at keeping us updated on progress - We waited month and months and then all the sudden it was time for the walk through and move in a week later.
As an HOA they have been GREAT! Sandra is very good at getting back to me about problems.

I have worked with Georgetown for 7 years. Also have purchased several homes from them. Such a great company to work with and such a great Builder who builds beautiful homes!
