My wife and I were extremely young and used Buffy for the purchase of our first home. We found a condo on a government website for $40k and she showed it to us. The next day she made up some story that she got a call from one of the neighbors saying that there was structural damage to the entire buildingthat would cost upwards of $800k, and that there would be $25k assessment charged to each owner to have this fixed. Come to find out, this was all a lie. Buffy talked us into a more expensive property to increase her commissions and she actually bought the $40k property she showed us, and currently has renters in it!!! She's an absolute scam artist and cannot be trusted.

I wouldn’t rent from these people, specifically Buffy Schwieger, if you want your security deposit back. I ended my lease and returned the keys to the townhome before the mandated out date due to getting a surgery, which I emailed about. I gave notice that it was back in their possession and received no email back. I asked for an update and a itemized list of any deductions a month later, again received no email back. I reached out once again with the same response. That was 33 days after I had vacated the townhome. An additional 3 days went by before I emailed again reminding them it was past the 30 days required by law to refund my security deposit. I got an unprofessional response calling me ‘sis’ and that I wasn’t out of the home so I had to pay for the additional days I was not in possession of the residence. She then said that I had the audacity to send that email. I was also told in that same email they would give me a response BEFORE the 30 days was up and have not received a single word about it. It has been 48 days. If you want to fight and take them to small claims court to get your deposit back, you should rent from them.

I applied for one of their rentals, paid the fees and everything and had absolute no contact from either of them. Even if I am not approved for the unit, some communication would have been appreciated. Very disappointing.
