Debris from their company truck busted my windshield and a male representative from their company told me to go back to the interstate where the incident occurred and find the debris...go back to the interstate, with my two-year-old in the car, park, and look for the debris. This is after I spoke with someone who said to simply fax the company the police report of the incident, and that Safelite would repair my windshield. My biggest issue is that regardless of which of these people is "right" with how to handle my situation, the person telling people to go to the interstate and park to look for debris that has struck their vehicles needs customer service relations skills asap, and the company needs to train any and every employee to know what will and won't be done in these types of scenarios.
