Eric was amazing to work with! He has a calming yet somehow enthusiastic demeanor that helps you feel comfortable navigating a gigantic life decision and excited to do it. When first embarking on the home purchasing journey we weren’t exactly sure where we wanted to buy, and had a pretty complex set of requirements in a home to consider. Eric spent time listening to our needs and rather than imposing his own opinions on our ambitions he dug in and sent over a wide range of options in various locations to help us get a feel for different puts and takes in different neighborhoods and different price points.

From his own list as well as from a list of houses we had seen online we went looking at a some together so he could understand how we saw each house and what we liked or didn’t like to further dial in the search. As you walk through each house he helps provide insights on the area the house and the property (like local parks or shops or what property issues or potential you may encounter or how you could overcome certain things you may not like if you loved everything else etc). It felt like you were shopping for a house with an old friend rather than someone who’s treating it like a transaction.

After only 2 or 3 days of looking at houses together he had already identified our style and had found a house we couldn’t pass up.

We decided to offer. We discussed with Eric what sort of offer we would likely need to make to be competitive. We never felt pressured to offer more than what we were comfortable with or even much more than the asking price. we wound up offering essentially at asking price. based on how quickly we put our offer in prior to any others (4 offers made the day after ours was accepted) and Eric’s intuition on what would be a realistic competitive offer without over extending we were able to buy our hopefully forever home! His ability to provide expert guidance without pressure could not have been more valuable to us!

Even after the sale has been completed and we moved in, he’s still an active resource making sure we have everything we need or providing connections in the new neighborhood! Would definitely recommend Eric to anyone looking for a home.
