Where do I even begin? I met with a realtor of theirs 3 years ago for the first time and only once to look at a townhome. I ended up moving out of state for three years. I planned on possibly moving back so I reached back out to the realtor. I flew out to Utah twice to meet back up with the realtor , to look at a couple houses all within close proximity. my wife ended up falling in love with a house in Texas where we currently live, so we needed to pull out of the contract on one of the properties in Utah. I called to let my realtor know, and was met with extremely harsh accusations that I was just wasting his time and stringing him along, and claiming multiple times that “he doesn’t work for free” He threatened that if I wouldn’t pay him 1% of the property value, that he wouldn’t send me the termination of the contract. (Never agreed upon before acquiring him as a realtor) Effectively forcing me to breach a contract. He then said he would send me the termination of the contract if I paid him 1,000 dollars he claimed his brokerage told him that was fair. After plenty of research and consulting with friends that are familiar with the topic. None of them have ever heard of those kind of unprofessional practices effectively trying to bribe me into paying them money when a deal falls through, and counseled me into understanding that these are in fact not standard practices of a realtor and brokerage. I decided that if I want to purchase Utah property in the future it would not be with that realtor or brokerage, so I kindly reached out to the brokerage to get a termination of buyer brokerage agreement. I was asked why I’m worried about it if I’m not going to buy a property in Utah? I was told that they would speak with me tomorrow, and that it was out of business hours. After looking up their hours it turns out that was a blatant lie and they were still open. Run as fast as you can from this place if you value professionalism.

Based on my families experience and evidence of a lack of professionalism I would recommend looking at other brokerages throughout Utah especially in salt lake and the surrounding areas. Don’t sign anything until you’ve gone over all of your documents THOROUGHLY!

My family’s experience with Equity Real Estate has been that the individuals at this company are unprofessional and have zero compassion. We have experienced bribery, manipulation and neglect. I would strongly advise you look elsewhere.

Real Estate Agent Susana Lowe helped us Sell our home, quickly, easily and above list price! She was honest, fair commission, quick, knowledgeable and on top of it!! She then helped us purchase a home in the crazy real estate market of 2021! We had our offer accepted within a couple weeks of looking! She was very thorough, went to bat for us, and was always there to answer any questions we had! Real Estate Agent Jon Romney was also very helpful and assisted when the other couldn’t! They worked in tandem together very seamlessly! This team is one for the books! Never felt as confident in any other brokerages I’ve worked with in the past!

We worked with agent Ben Gonzalez on the purchase of our second home. We absolutely loved working with him! He was quick to answer our questions, helped us find the perfect location, and helped us through a very stressful process. We had multiple issues come up with the builder and Ben fought for us the entire time. We will definitely be working with him again on any of our real estate needs.

Nice stylists. Always have good conversation do it isn't boring just sitting there. But most importantly, they are great at hair cutting. I'm balding in front and they showed me how to make it look not completely horrible. They are one of the lowest price places around. Good hair at a good price.

Edit: Miguel Gomez was selling a home that we put a bid on and lied to us about when bids were accepted so we submitted an offer and wasted our time, put it under contract without notifying us. Stopped us from putting bids on other homes because of our earnest and deposit. Very unprofessional.

Toni and Steve are the best of the best! They are down to earth, very knowledeable and VERY REPONSIVE. As a new agent there is nothing better than a broker who makes you feel comfortable to reach out and get answers.
