Edward Ogosta was a fantastic architect to collaborate with. From the start, he approached our site with a deep sensitivity to its context, balancing modern design with the existing structure and landscape. He listened carefully, brought insightful ideas, and translated our vision into a space that feels both intentional and timeless. As a client, I was deeply involved in the design process, and he welcomed my engagement, allowing me to be part of the details without ever compromising the integrity of the design. His minimalist yet warm approach, combined with a sharp eye for light and form, made the process both inspiring and seamless. Working with him was a true partnership, and the end result speaks to his thoughtful and precise design sensibility.

Ed Ogosta orchestrated a beautiful remodel on our outdated 1950's ranch house with masterful control of proportion, light, texture, function, and details. We could not be happier with the process and the end result: clean modernism, but warm and inviting, with a perfect nod to the site and context.

I wanted something modern and luxurious yet also honest and well-designed for my 3,500 sq ft. home gut remodel. I had looked at and talked to many architects in SoCal, but as soon as I got off the phone with Ed I knew he was going to be the one. Many developers in the LA area go over-the-top (not in a good way) when choosing fixtures and finishes; the spaces Ed designed had a much more refined, tasteful, and quietly luxurious feel that could be fully utilized every day. What I loved was that he was able to take a lot of my inspiration photos and feedback and incorporate it, making it both his own trademark design and as well as my own home. He was very detailed - down to designing door jambs, suggesting hardware, and designing the custom bathroom cabinets so they did not need handles (which ended up being cheaper than store-bought vanities). Ed was also hands on in the bidding and construction process giving feedback to the contractor as well as setting standards. I now have a beautiful open kitchen clad in white oak slats, a creamy stone master bath with skylight and a glowing ambiance, and most importantly, a cohesively designed place I can properly call home.
