I hired Eano for a bathroom renovation a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the job is not holding up. The floor tiles were not installed properly and have become loose with grout cracking. I suspect the installer did not apply the mortar properly. Despite multiple attempts to contact Eano via email and phone, I was not able to obtain a response.

Poor craftsmanship and no post-job customer service. I recommend you stay away from this company and instead choose someone else for your next renovation.

UPDATE: After speaking with Anthony from Customer Support, the only solution offered was to send someone back out to our house. We had no interest in continuing to have these people in our home so we declined this inadequate after-the-fact solution. While we wish they would have compensated for all the issues unfortunately, we remain incredibly disappointed with the experience and customer service.

Changing review from 2 to 1 star because Eano team continue to threaten to put a lien on our house, send us to collections, and charging us $600 (the returned materials refund) unless we take down this review  (a "deal" we never agreed to) which is incredibly unprofessional, and horrible customer service.

Buyer beware!

We chose Eano to renovate our two 35 sq ft bathrooms in Seattle. The Eano team sold us on a easy process using their app, and working with seasoned contractors (Jamie and Ang). We chose the "Eano Golden Blue" bathroom for both bathrooms, a featured local project showcase on their site. After the contractors took measurements, we virtually met with the Eano materials team to choose the materials. We raised concerns over the amount of materials being purchased for 2 small bathrooms, the Eano materials assured us they would take care of excess materials.

This is a non-exhaustive list of concerns. These issues were communicated using the app-based messaging/ chat, and via email when asked for feedback, but the Eano team refuses to address them and continues to just redirect to the contractor.

1. Measurement: Inaccurate/ low-quality measurement data lead to issues with fitting certain items, for the example the shelves (we have no shelves and will have to find and install some on our own)
2. Materials: Issues with ordering (getting the wrong type of shower tiles) and communication (not letting us know updates on shipping, despite asking multiple times). As soon the sold us the materials, the Eano materials team were unresponsive.
3. On-site work/contractors: started with the guest bath instead of the en suite as requested and agreed upon, lack of communication of when they would be back/ leaving for days at a time without cleaning up/ leaving the bathroom door off with open toilet pipe leading to sewage smell (we had to put the door back on ourselves multiple times, even after communicating this concern). In addition, there were OFTEN questions asked that could have already been answered with info from the EANO team (What tile should we use? What grout should we use? Etc.). It was incredibly difficult to communicate with the work crew.  They peed in our backyard, smoked cigarettes with the garage and doors open so smoke wafted into our house all day, left the garage unattended, and sometimes had new random people show up with zero communication (letting strangers into our home without notifying us).
4. Finishing work: Scratched vanity counter, messy grout lines (black tile with white grout, so it's very noticeable), poor tile work on floor, loose parts on toilet, poorly done unfinished caulking/sealant/grout, tub plug/stopper doesn't work, left bathrooms dirty
5. App blling issues: so many problems with payment. Receiving error messages "payment not completed" but then having money withdrawn anyway, payments that we made on Zelle not being recorded anywhere, we had to go back and account for every payment and cross reference with the app/ then communicate it to the team.

We were told Eano would be "Easy and Affordable" but our experience has been difficult, frustrating, and expensive given the process and final product. Cannot in good faith recommend the service to anyone.

All-in-all, I had a positive experience with Eano. The company is still new so there are some things to work through, but I would recommend working with them if you don't know any trustworthy general contractors in your area.

I am a first time homeowner in Seattle and was looking for a team that seemed experienced and attentive to my questions and kitchen renovation needs.

Project Scoping Discussions:
As I have limited prior home renovation experience, the planning team made me feel reassured that they had the proper knowledge and expertise needed to manage my home project. They answered all my questions via email quickly and thoroughly, and made adjustments to the scope of work until it was satisfactory. They were patient with me when I changed my mind about certain things I wanted changed.

Materials Procurement:
You are asked to set up a meeting with someone from the materials procurement team to discuss color schemes and overall design. This happened prior to the introduction to our general contractor. Once we met with our GC, we needed to have this design conversation again. This was a confusing step because it was unclear whether our materials were going to be sourced by Eano, by the homeowner, or by the GC. From our conversation with the procurement team, it seemed like everything would be purchased by Eano, and we would pay them back for it through their dashboard. However, after meeting with the GC who managed the actual labor of the project, he said that he would be sourcing our materials for us with his own money and that we would pay him back directly. There were also some items like the kitchen sink, cabinet handles, garbage disposal, faucet, etc. that we needed to purchase ourselves. We ended up having to expedite shipping for these things so that it would arrive on-site on time according to the timeline of the build. I would recommend asking the team for clarity on exactly what materials are expected to be sourced by the homeowner ahead of time to avoid any confusion.

Working With the GC:
The GC we worked with is Brian Tsai. He is incredibly experienced and I would recommend him to anyone doing renovations. Brian prioritizes client satisfaction and trust in his team's work ethic and attention to detail. He was not able to be on-site everyday of the project, but always made himself available via phone call or text right away. Any questions or concerns were addressed as quickly as possible. Brian was extremely transparent and proactive with communicating with me on project status, what days/times his team will arrive to work, any potential issues, etc. When discussing the design of the kitchen, he Facetimed me as he walked through the cabinet store so that I could see all the options I had and be able to talk through it with him live. Samples of the cabinets and quartz countertop options were also brought to our home so we could visualize everything better. He always sent us a copy of the receipts for anything he sourced right away (cabinets, quartz countertop, can lights, etc.). Our kitchen renovation was estimated to take about 2.5 weeks, and I'm happy to say that it finished on time. Brian also kept in closely contact with his team and made sure they were respectful of our space and kept the area as clean as possible. At the end of the project, his team came and took all the trash away. Brian is the main reason we had a great experience with Eano, and I would work with him again in the future.

Recently, I had an outstanding experience with the Eano team on my kitchen remodel. They were very approachable, efficient, and professional from permit application to construction and material selection. What stood out to me was that they really took the initiative to communicate with me, keeping me informed at all stages, so that I feel secure and comfortable working with them. The crew was respectful to me and punctual to our meetings. Gladly, the end result turned out to be exceeding my expectation. And now I get to use a brand new kitchen that meets my functional and aesthetic needs. Overall, it would be a great choice to go with the Eano team 🙂

My realtor recommended Eano for some remodeling work we wanted to be done in our home. Just finished their questionnaires on their website, and we got an estimated quote just in 3 mins. That was very impressive because we had to wait at least 1 week for estimated quotes from other contractors.

After having 2 online meetings and 1 onsite measurement, we signed the contract with them, and they started construction immediately. The team updated me almost daily throughout their App. Only once I was satisfied with their milestone, they would move to the next one. Great job!

I got Eano on board to totally redo my house – kitchen, bathroom, flooring, the works. They handled it all – permits, construction, even sourcing finishing materials. Being new to the whole remodeling scene, their approach was a godsend – no stress or mess. The folks at Eano are just fantastic – professional, quick to respond, and super helpful. Plus, their app gave me updates every day – a brilliant tool to keep me and the contractor on the same page. If you're a remodeling newbie like me, trust me, you'll want to go with Eano.

I felt overwhelmed by pricing and options when it came to remodeling our bathroom, which looked like it hadn't been updated in over 20 years. I found Eano through a Google search and was optimistic about the construction cost compared to other companies in town. I had a couple of video chats with them before I signed a contract and a project manager came out to take measurements.

They handled the entire project while I purchased materials (which was optional - they offer to supply materials, too). Once I'd purchased everything, they set a break-ground date with a contractor. The contractor arrived on a Monday and was finished exactly a week later; the quick turnaround was very important to/valuable for us, since this is our only bathroom. The contractor was very professional and communicative, and our Eano project manager visited the house every few days to check in and take photos.

In the end, I'm super happy with our new bathroom! There were a couple of small issues - they got the grout color wrong on our floor (even though we labeled the grout powder "floor" and "shower" - still looks great!), the water doesn't get as hot as it used to in the shower (probably a small miscalculation with the shower valve installation - Eano said they'd find a handyman to fix it if I can't DIY it) and the shower tiling isn't perfect (some gaps and holes between tiles). But I believe it was well worth the price, and I'm very glad I went with Eano. Could I have found a contractor and managed the project on my own? Maybe, but I definitely would've added a LOT of stress (and potentially time off of work) to the project. As a first-time homeowner, this was an amazing experience, and I'd absolutely recommend Eano to anyone looking to remodel on a budget.

We needed our entire main floor remodeled including floors, wall removal, ceilings and countertops. Eano got it done quickly and with no errors. Whole project turned out great and we're getting compliments every time someone stops by. It's finally a room we feel like spending time in after purchasing an older home.
