We went with Eagle Construction on a recommendation instead of Main Street due to the floor plan we opted for was not available at that time in the area we had chosen back in 2022. We hoped Weinsten and Weinsten were still in the construction business. A great company, in our opinion, that built homes using real materials, not " engineered."
We have no complaints. Only observations.
The project manager is the person responsible for how well your home is or is not constructed.
Bonuses they could receive for early completion of a project weighs heavy on their decision making.
We've owned a few homes in our lifetime and most have had minor imperfections.

A brick fireplace that's a ¼ inch off. Or a circuit not heavy enough. But, nothing like a doorway entrance cut too large that the door doesn't fit.
Or "engineered" 2×6 boards that has a 2 in board with a piece of plywood glued top and bottom to resemble a 2×6 board. It doesn't come close. A technique that was discontinued quote a few years ago. It was unethical.

A floating floor design that allows your LVT planks to give, however your subfloor is not attached to your " engineered" 2×6 joist in many places causing your floor planks to pop-up when you walk on them.
Tile floors in every bathrm are not close to being level. After 2 & ½ yrs of residency you can stub your toe in some places. The grout in the walk-in showers between the tiles are disappearing along with the grout between the floor tiles.
I could go on listing repair items we've faced and still are.

Fortunately for us John, the most knowledgeable repairman who addresses eagle's warranty issues and we've had the very good fortune of meeting, came to our rescue the first 60 days.
Of course, after your year is completed & even before at times we could never get a response to our calls, voicemail messages or emails without going to the chain of command.
I've waited for the house to settle before posting a review. All n all we have been fortunate that the companies employed by eagle construction during the build continues to work with us to correct construction flaw even though the warranty by eagle is expired. We are learning that eagle's reputation for working with a large majority of customers is less than 1 star.

Happy we didn't purchase a Ryan home for sure, based on what our neighbors tell us.
We suggest doing your research on your project manager first. Our's was Mr Wally Wallace. A good guy with meet & greet. Keeps you updated with photos of each stage of the build. You can ask the correct questions. Not sure if you will get all truthful answers.
These are the thinness piecs of sheet rock used for sidewalls. I have never wiped a stain and a hole appeared where i wiped. Really thin.

We have great neighbors to date. We also see a great many for sale signs in our community. Some eagle construction some ryan.
Remember project managers & bonuses for early completion.

Happy house hunting.

Unfortunately, my overall experience with Eagle has been disappointing. I have encountered numerous issues related to poor workmanship, including unfulfilled promises during the design and construction process, significant delays, an uninsulated fireplace, inadequate handling and repair of cracks, and a leaking roof within just a few years. There are many other missing details that have contributed to my dissatisfaction.

We are almost 7 years into our Village Walk townhome in Williamsburg and I fully regret the purchase due to ongoing leaking issues with our rooftop terrace and the defective fiber cement siding which, after only 7 years, is in need of replacement and/or repair. A huge selling point to purchase this townhome was the initial low HOA fees that would include "exterior" future maintenance. However, over the last several years our HOA funds became depleted due to ongoing unknown and un budgeted funds needed to fix ongoing Village Walk repairs. As of this writing, the Board is attempting to amend our bylaws to pass the exterior costs back to the owners due to the unmanageable task of keeping up with the problems found in our development.

In early 2024, we had so many exterior problems our HOA board hired a consulting firm to conduct a condition assessment on all of our units, including those with a rooftop terrace. A general theme of this 50 page report was the defective siding (cracking, buckling, breaking, fading) improperly flashed sections of metal roofing, open joints in transition metal flashing, and poor design and installation of rooftop terraces (too many details to list here). There are roughly 48 units with rooftop terraces in our development , and so far more than 10% of owners have "known" leaks and some with extensive structural damage. Unfortunately, fixing these issues almost requires a complete rebuild of the terrace, and requires knowledge and coordination from many trades (EPDM re roofing, siding removal and re install, removing and re installing roof top sliding doors and closet doors). Our master bedroom beneath the terrace began leaking in the summer of 2024. I have attempted to contact Eagle for guidance on getting this fixed but have not received a reply.

Anyone looking to purchase a new Eagle home with a rooftop terrace should beware. A low sloped flat roof with EMPD (rubber membrane) must be installed with care and a great amount quality control, which clearly was not the case in our development. The option to have the terrace on our unit was roughly 30k. To fix leaks on these less than 7 years later, contractors are quoting/charging 40k+.

Less than 7 years ago I had that new home honeymoon feeling with no exterior maintenance to worry about. Fast forward 7 years later I'm facing re siding my home and attempting to fix a leaking rooftop terrace, all out of pocket with no help or response from Eagle.

So no, I would never purchase a new home from Eagle again.

I can not express the amazing experience we have had with Eagle Construction. Initially with Bonnie on selecting the home and lot. Bonnie sat down with us, listened very attentively on our needs and wants and was able to recommend a home that suited our needs. She went into detail on our steps and all we will be going though on the next steps.

Then came the design.. Suzanne is absolutely amazing as well. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail is unmatched to anyone else. She walked us through our options and if there was anything special we needed she quickly requested a quote and got us what we needed. I only heard one no, but we were okay with that and it was beyond her control. She provided feedback on my design options and even suggested other options. It was more like talking to a friend than a worker for eagles. Amazing staff at the front desk in the design store as well.

Eagles construction has made home building a great experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their forever home.

My husband and I are first time home buyers. We are so very happy with our new home and elated with joy to move in. It has been a wonderful experience working with Bonnie Draga and Wally Wallace. Bonnie has provided quality and exceptional customer service from the beginning to the end of the home buying process. She took the time to explain everything about our new home and provided us the opportunity to ask questions. We appreciated her quick response whether in person, via email or on the phone because she followed up in a timely manner. Wally was also wonderful in assisting us. His expert knowledge and attention to detail during the orientation walk thru exceeded our expectations. He explained the operation of our home and ensured that we were comfortable how everything operated. We had the opportunity to ask an unlimited amount of questions. We appreciate both of them being readily available to assist us in this smooth transition of home ownership. They both are truly passionate about their work and helping people. We are looking forward to spending many, many years in our new home. We highly recommend Eagle Construction for a job well done and glad to be part of the Eagle Family!

I have a beautiful new home, built by Eagle Homes and I couldn’t be happier. I have found this company to be professional, responsive to my questions, and most importantly they have handled everything with integrity. The project manager Cory was outstanding. He was always available, answered my texts, and made me feel like no question was too small. What could’ve been a very stressful experience turned out to be a great experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eagle Homes.

I am so thankful to the people behind Eagle Construction of VA for helping me settle into my new home after a cross country move. From my experiences with the initial viewing of the model to the sales and design centers to landing in my beautiful new condo, I have had many pleasant surprises along the way! I am happy to recommend them and my amazing, quiet, luxury condo (or one like it)!

Unethical! Eagle built our new (not inexpensive) home in 2017. Within 2 years we started having cracks in our siding. Though Eagle is not the manufacturer, nor the installer, they made no effort to assist in the replacement of our siding. When I followed up with the installer/manufacturer at Eagle's recommendation, I was offered $187, for what ended up costing us more than $20K to replace. There are over 80 homes in my subdivision with this issue, and more in other subdivisions around town. Eagle has absolved itself completely from any responsibility. Most homeowners in my neighborhood are on fixed incomes and this expense was clearly difficult for many to absorb, only 3-5 years in from the home's construction. Shame on Eagle for not attempting to provide a better financial solution for homeowners. In the long run, it would have been a drop in their profit bucket. Instead, it has considerably damaged their reputation and should give pause to any future homeowners considering buying from them.
