My husband and I had totally different thoughts on how to decorate our new condo while attempting to use all the furniture that we’d had from our previous smaller place. What should have been an exciting time was turning into daily arguments. Then I brought in Christine. She thoughtfully explained what would work and what wouldn’t. She sketched out a couple of floor plans, helped us to consider traffic flow in our kitchen/ dining area that we’d previously ignored and kept us from making some costly mistakes. She suggested a color palette based on our existing furniture and, armed with that we were able to shop our local stores and online for in stock pieces. I hired Christine/Designology for a 1.5 hour consultation. I foolishly thought that was enough time. We used every second of that consult and may be hiring her as a consultant during our kitchen redesign.

I found Christine with a Google search that lead me to her Instagram. My first contact was via Instagram, which led to a 15-minute phone call with Lauren to see what I was looking for and what they offer.

Before our consult appointment, I filled out a detailed questionnaire and got together Pinterest ideas and samples from local tile/cabinetry shops. Christine offered alternative ideas and explained why the tile I chose would look busy once installed, which is fine if that’s what I wanted. But it wasn’t. She explained that our cabinet selection was a warm color and the flooring was too cool in color. This was exactly the type of information I was looking for. She gave ideas on how to update the kitchen with keeping the same floor plan and implementing ideas I’m trying to accomplish. She tied in the ear-in kitchen and family room area. She sketched out a quick drawing for us to play with. She quickly (due to time) mentioned flipping the layout, which I never thought of. And we aren’t looking to spend that kind of money, but it made me realize that this is why you (me) hire a professional. There are just things I wouldn’t have thought of.

Christine asked pointed questions and brought forth ideas and things to think about that weren’t even on my radar. She followed up w more info in an email.

All interactions I’ve had with her or her office have been helpful and appreciated.

I only have good things to say about our experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her company.

I originally met with Christine for a consultation, not expecting to use her services for much more than as a sounding board for my own ideas. However, she’s now redesigned my whole house and addition at this point. We immediately hit it off. Christine has a great understanding of how things work together not just look good together. She understands how to bring greater functionality to each environment. We’ve been working together about a year and a half and I can’t count how many times I’ve recommended her services at this point. She is worth every penny and then some. Also, if it matters to you it’s a woman owned and run business through and through. Great staff too. The only problem now is I need another house to renovate so I can work with her again.
