We really enjoyed it here as we visited the nightly rental community. Beautiful interior finishes. The pool area is impressive and the lagoon was perfect for paddleboards. Really cold though. There lots of construction so very ready for the pounding. Overall, if your traveling and vacationing, this is a great place to stay. There are also areas within the development that are full full time residences. You can't just rent out anywhere so make sure you know which areas to buy in.

Visited some family who had just moved into Desert Color and stayed for a few days. While I won't be buying here myself, I can give a neutral assessment on the community. The variety of builders in Desert Color offers an expanded range of price points and housing styles compared with most planned neighborhoods from the condos in the $300's all the way up to multi-million dollar properties and everything in between. However, I noticed that the lots are on the small side considering the square footage of the homes. The Lagoon (huge!!) and pool area was impressive and surely a big selling point but I can only imagine how crowded it will get when the neighborhood is built out and shared with hundreds more residents. The lagoon is not heated either and was cold even on a 100 degree day. A restaurant/eatery and a small convenience store would make a quality addition to this central gathering point of Desert Color, which still feels like it's missing something. Cell phone service was unreliable and I'm on a major network carrier- guessing the local infrastructure still needs upgrading. The other negative that was glaringly obvious to me is that there is almost no retail within a 10-15 minute drive of this community, so you're going to spend a lot of time in the car if you live here. It may take a decade for good quality amenities to catch up with the growth on the south end of Saint George so that would definitely be something to keep in mind unless you're planning to live here a long time.

Obsessed with this place! We take multiple trips here each year. Services, accommodations, & fun get better each time we go. They do movies, crafts, & so much more at the common areas. Check their FB page for updates when these happen. This place is such a vibe. Pools heated year round. Lagoon is not but during summer months my kids love the paddle boarding, beaches, & snow cones. Definitely try lodging here at least once to experience it for yourself.

Super friendly staff and always answers the phone and my questions. Love living here and such a happy place seeing all the kids on scooters and golf carts using all of our trails. Keep up the good work

I usually give 5 stars wherever u stay, even if there are a few hiccups. But MICE scurrying around inside the walls of our rental all night and no one answering the after hours line. Up all night with loud chewing, scratching mice running with their nails scrapping all night- we moved rooms and the mice moved. Even with earplugs and loud white noise on our phone did not block the mice noise! We are exhausted. The buildings seem nice, but likely made from cheap materials and corners cut- the kitchen counter broke off when my 12 year old son leaned on it and scraped him!the owners did a great job furnishing and decorating, top quality linens and bedding and mattresses- but the management and construction fall way short. If you want food, you’ve got to get in the freeway and drive about 10 minutes out no matter what you want- so stalk up. We would give it 3 stars, but the Lagoon and pool area was great.

We stayed at a Desert Color condo. The community is maybe 1/3 finished. So, there’s lots of construction all around. There are no stores, restaurants, etc nearby. There is 1 gas station across I15 & DoorDash is always an option. Right now the only amenities are the pool & Lagoon, so not much for the price you’re paying. All the other resorts in SG area have much more for the same price or less. Visiting with some full-time homeowners at the pool, they mentioned the HOA is very pricey & they don’t receive much for it. They mentioned nightly rental guests receive more “attention” & they seemed a little bothered by all the nightly renters. It kind of turned us off from investing here or even wanting to purchase a primary residence here.

Hopefully with time the community gets better. Parking is limited & will probably get worse as more homes/condos are finished.

The condo we were in was very clean & new but there isn’t much of a sound barrier with the walls in the condos. We could hear our neighbors talking, baby crying & other neighbors building their furniture all night. I’d say the quality is similar to a Fairfield Inn or Holiday Inn Express.

There were no towels available & no food options available. So, just come prepared with coolers, water, food, towels when going to the pool.
