My wife and I decided to invest in expanding our current home. We searched and met with a few contractors but after meeting Decor Builders Team and Tal, we decided to contract with them to build a master bedroom, bathroom, and walking closet. From the design, construction, and final delivery, everyone from Decor Builders Team was respectful, friendly, transparent, professional, and provided timely status update.

Tal, Eddie, and the team listened to our needs, help us realize our vision, and stood with us during the entire process from demolition to final inspection. The project plan was designed, communicated to us, and executed without major interruptions other than rain/weather related delays early in 2024.

The quality and design have exceeded our expectations, with the addition seamlessly blending into the existing structure and feeling like it was meant to be there all along. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results and investment in our future.

Anyone embarking on a remodel / addition project should know that its one of the most stressful endeavors and there are lots of very very shady actors out there. We picked Decor (and Tal specifically) after interviewing over 17 contractors. One of the main reasons (apart from being punctual and clear) was of all the contractors we spoke to - only two did not try to minimize our vision of building what we wanted - most contractors would ask us to make the project to be <500 sq ft and scared us with something called "School tax". Turns out, the reason for them pushing us this way was because it was easier for them to get permits (OTC process) and not really for our benefit. Tal, on the other hand, told us - "build what you want, I will handle all of the permit work" and not to stress about the school tax (yes its there but its a small one time amount compared to the whole project) and he delivered in spades - we designed the house how we wanted and he got the permits the right way. Moving on from there, given the horror stories we had heard from our friends, we were very worried about the project itself, but Tal and his team (Eddie and all the others) made it relatively painless. The project completed almost on time - only reason it was delayed was some windows didn't come on time for us. The team is absolutely fantastic. They put us at ease every step of the way and made sure that we were not being nickeled and dimed. Tal and his team became almost like family for us. The work quality is astounding. Even today, our friends remark how it doesn't seem like we did an addition given how seamlessly the addition and the previous home blend together. The attention to detail - even with things like ensuring the baseboards match the previous home was just mind-blowingly impressive. Honestly, we could not have gotten here without Tal and his team. I have no hesitation in recommending Decor and Tal to anyone who is considering an addition or remodel. Go Decor!

My husband and I worked with Tal and Mustafa on a bedroom extension plus a mudroom (200+ sq ft). They were great from the beginning to the end. Our project was completed in 3 months. Would have been less if all the finishes had arrived earlier, but that's on us.

We are super impressed with the Decor Builders' team. Their communication, project management, timeliness to completion of each phase, and quality of work was all great.

Tal and Mustafa would catch things we didn't see and ask their subcontractors to fix them. Some issues came from our vendor with doors, and they worked with us to get that communicated back to the vendor.

We had just finished an ADU prior to this project that took way too long. So wished we had found Decor Builders earlier. Will definitely work with them again.

1 word: AWESOME! We used Decor Builders for building and design services to add a 230 sq ft kitchen and remodel two existing bathrooms in a California all original ranch house built in 1953. Tal and the team (Raana, Anne, Juwon, Patrick , Eddie, Jaime) were fantastic! Our journey began in March 2023, and we submitted the final design plans to the city of SJ in June/July 2023. Final approvals were received in September 2023, and our construction took place from February 2024 to end of September 2024.

Decor Builders supported us every step of the way with great suggestions, an easy-to-work-with network of suppliers, and a friendly staff that made the experience as easy as possible. There were some change orders due to the major work taking place, but the team helped us weigh our options in real time, and we are ultimately very satisfied with the outcomes. We will most definitely choose Decor Builders again for our next project and would not hesitate to recommend them, especially to families who have never gone through a remodel or home construction before. We did an entire exterior remodel with Guy and his team at Decor Builders and are very pleased with the results -- it turned out exactly as designed. Each aspect of the build was done with skill and attention to detail -- wood siding repair, new Ipe siding, paint, new gate and fence, downspouts, chimneys, stacked stone, windows and custom garage doors. And Guy remained engaged with the project, accessible and responsive throughout.

It was a pleasure working with Tal in my recent house remodel: the renovation of two bathrooms, installation of new floors and painting of the entire house. The result looks beautiful, and the project itself went very smoothly.
Tal was involved in the process end to end, from the initial phase helping me weigh decide between several design options. He was then very helpful in the choice of materials, and how they worked in the design I chose. When the project started, it was very clear what to expect in terms of timeline and next steps.
The project itself came out even better than expected, the tiles and fixtures for the bathroom blended perfectly together not only from a design perspective, but also the execution was very detailed and impeccable.
