I worked with David Watkins to develop architectural plans for a fixer-upper property that I purchased in Santa Barbara. This property is an investment property, so it was very important that we stick to a set budget and get everything done in a timely manner.

David was diligent about deadlines and always worked to make sure I was happy with his recommendations. This is the first home I've owned, and with it requiring so much work, it's important to be working with someone I can trust and someone who has my best interests in mind. If a design detail that I wanted wouldn't work, or if there was an alternative option that would save me a lot of money, David was sure to present me with these other options.

I'm very appreciative of his creativity in how he approaches projects, his ability to think outside the box to make my dreams a reality, and his expertise and commitment to not just present me with drawings, but to also recommend other solutions that I might not have considered. Given the extent of the remodel on this property, we had to have several meetings with the city and go through several rounds of permitting.

David was very helpful with all of that. He has great relationships with folks in the city and county and made that process so much smoother and comfortable. I'm sure things would have taken longer and likely even been more expensive had it not been for his help on that front. I've been incredibly pleased with the work David has done for me on this project, and I'm happy to say that through the process we've become friends as well. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Watkins is fantastic. He worked on my project that consisted of 8 Condo Units and 1,400 square feet of office space. Out of all the professionals out there, he was one of the best to work with. He was responsive to my phone calls, was receptive to my ideas, and did great work. I would recommend him without hesitation.
