We moved here three months ago. We were shocked to hear that our house in which we paid a ridiculous amount for was done early. That should have been the first red flag…without dragging this out, DR Horton spends the least amount of money to build these homes. They are cheaply built and slapped together. If you have the option, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I could go on and bore people with the list of things that are still wrong with our home. Don’t bother with their customer service either- they don’t get anything done at all. There has been two superintendents that have been professional and really cool, everything else has sucked.

This is flat out the best bang for your buck. You really need to have a private inspector to ensure everything is done correctly. This is by far the best builder that I have come across. I have been watching this development for years and I kept comming back because I just felt that there was a better quality in the framing compared to the others. We did encounter some issues but you got to stick to what you know is right and I promise you they will make it right within reason. The people that work at DR are for the most part good people. They want you to be happy with your purchase. My suggestion is to have everything corrected prior to move in because it becomes quite a pain in dealing with the warranty companies. Overall, I love my home and am so happy I committed to this purchase.

These people were extremely unprofessional and had horrible communication with us. It’s almost as if they went out of their way to make everything as difficult as possible. They didn’t want to uphold their end of the contract and getting any warranty or 1yr inspection work done required pulling teeth. They treated us like a nuisance and wouldn’t work with us until we filed an ROC complaint against them for all the issues we were having and them ghosting us. I will never use DR Horton again and wouldn’t recommend them to even my worst enemy. They behaved and treated us absolutely abhorrently. Shame on them. Do not buy a home from DR Horton.

Nice homes good prices but do not deal with Sophia. Not who you want to deal with when spending over $400k.
