Its great. However it can get unbelievably disgusting in the hot summer months due to the Green Algae. The smell is overwhelming and the water is almost completely green.
Its not as bad on years where there has been plenty of winter snow and spring rains.
Which keeps the water cold, moving and full.

This is no longer a lake, nor was it ever. It was an un maintained hydroelectric dam resavoir owned by Warren buffet who did nothing but collect money off of. So much could have been done to for the sake of all the people who were affected by its existence. Shame on Warren.

i was reading a news article about this river.So had to look it up about how they are going to tear down the Copco dam.So the salmon can run free again.
