After my dad died, my mom moved across the country to live with my sister in the same town that I live in as well. Selling a house from across the country is a daunting task, especially when you have no idea where to turn. We found Sarah and her associate Jon-Ryan through a personal reference, and we couldn't be happier! From the moment we met her, Sarah was friendly, down to earth, and her professionalism, integrity, and knowledge put us at ease. Right from the start, we could see her total commitment to helping us. While we were out of town, Sarah made many trips to our house to prepare it for sale as well as check on things to put our minds at ease. The communication was excellent. The pricing of the house was made fair for both seller and buyer, and the disclosures were all up front and honest. After discussing our plans and desires, she and Jon-Ryan suggested we put the house up for sale sooner rather than later. This was excellent advice, as the house sold for the asking price in just a couple of weeks. Sarah assisted us every step of the way with the incredible amount of online contracts both before and after the sale and she went above and beyond in so many different ways, from yard care to checking in on the estate sale. Sarah was an amazing agent. Shortly thereafter, the local Carpinteria real estate market went crazy, and all properties were receiving offers over the asking price or all cash from investors. Our housing search dragged on over a year and Sarah was always responsive, prompt, and honest with us. She probably wrote 6 or 7 offers for us before we ever had an opportunity to negotiate.
