We fell in love with one of the model homes and decided to buy with CW Urban pretty fast since we didn't want to miss out on the lot we wanted. We did not have a buyer agent but our sale rep Ryan helped make the whole process smooth and easy, from a piece of empty land to a finished beautiful home. He answered our million of questions with care and walked us through every step. We were updated with every progress on the house and informed of next steps. Ryan is very experienced, fair and honest and we really appreciate that.

You could tell that CW takes pride in their quality and does their best to make customers happy. Everything is well thought out and the whole process from picking options and designs to every walk-through and closing on the home was made very easy and efficient.

Being new to Utah and first time building a home from scratch we took a chance are so glad we went with CW. So far we could not be happier with the house, even our inspector was pleased with the build quality. I loved being able to pick out all the finishes. Choosing the right builder and having a good sale consultant made a world of a difference when you make one of the biggest financial decision.

Expensive CHEAP homes. They may look nice at first, but the materials used are as cheap as can be. Within 6 months ALL of our "custom cabinets" are separating. After we complained, we were presented with docs we signed at closing saying "this is normal". Seriously, IKEA cabinets are better quality. The MDF baseboards installed around shower enclosures are all swelling and cracked. Here is a suggestion to CW the professional builder. Google: "should i use mdf baseboard around shower enclosure"

Buyer beware. I purchased a townhome from CW Urban in a new community 4 years ago and we have had constant issues with flooding/standing water throughout the entire community. The stairs to the upper area are completely eroding and failing. Serious quality issues and concerns. Consider another builder or property if you’re in the market.

Had to call the Sheriff on CW Land tonight. These guys are ridiculous. They put up a phony police light on a vacant field in rural Utah for "protection". Now all the neighbors have a cop light flashing into the windows of our homes and disturbing the sleep of both elderly and children. It honestly looks like a police car is flashing it's lights directly into your bedroom all night long. We had to move kids in the middle of the night to other rooms.

These guys only care about one thing and one thing only, money for themselves. Beware of buying anything from someone that operates this way, you're likely to have problems down the road. Notice almost all the positive reviews on here are real estate agents trying to help the CW image for easier sales and their subcontractors trying to help the business along. Almost no positive reviews from buyers. Utah has had way too much of being bullied by greedy developers.

If you are looking at buying the land in CW on Trappers Loop in Mountain Green think again. The housing above has landslides, springs all over the place and a marsh right in the middle of several proposed lots, not to mention the potable water supplied by Highlands Water company is green and brown if you fill a tub.

CW Urban builds a home that looks good on the outside but after they get your money you are pretty much on your own. 3 months have passed since closing on a C.W urban home and the front yard and fence (which I paid for in full) are still not installed--one excuse and promise after another but still no yard or fence. The AC system is not balanced right and the bedrooms are so hot that you cant be in them during the day. The issue is still not fixed. The list goes on and on. I would stay away if you are thinking of buying one of these homes. For the money you spend, these seem like they would be simple issues to fix but instead I get excuses. If the business actually reads this I would suggest that they provide less excuses and more action to take care of your customers. Stop blaming it all on the subcontractors and hire ones that will do the job right.

Absolutely disgusting how they are charging $600k+ for these cheap tin cans. Thanks for your contributions to making this a California market. These are pathetic and should be < $400k. You are better off getting homes nearly twice the size in Kaysville, Layton, Syracuse and even Farmington for this price. Cheap kitchens, cheap appliances, cheap flooring and no yard? No thank you. You’re better off buying a home that is 10+ years old with 3200 sq ft and a yard in a more established community as mentioned above. Please don’t consider these because you will be sorely ripped off buying these poorly built cheap homes. These prices make me sick. CW should be ashamed for their price gouging sales tactics. Take a look for your self and tell me these aren’t low quality homes that are way overpriced.

Fantastic innovative homes and great people. Demand for housing in Salt Lake is incredibly high and they are helping to fulfill that need in stylish form.
