My family and I were Coldwell Banker SSK Realtors clients from September 2013 through May 2015. From the few and far between service calls (because the house we rented was in great condition), to the promptness in response to emails or phone calls that we placed in the duration of renting; compared to other management services we've utilized, Coldwell Banker and its employees were always professional in dealing with any issues that arose.
Bea Barnes took special interest in us and ultimately became a mentor and friend (insert smiley face). At the time, we were an active duty military family and she was there to support us through not one, but two deployments!
Allen Hickman was our realtor for both the renting process and for when we decided that we loved the house so much, why not buy it (insert smiley face)?!
From the very start, our experience with the staff has been nothing short of our expectations. If we had to do it all over, we would rent from them again AND would recommend using them to our family and friends.
In the next year or so, when we move and rent our current house out, we plan on using their services to manage our property!
Thank you so much for making renting and first time home buying (sans signing all of that paperwork... >_< Hands. Still. Hurt.) fairly easy! (insert smiley face)

If you are a home owner looking for a property manager that takes terrible photos of your home, fails to communicate effectively, and continuously addresses work orders in an inefficient and expensive manner then this is the company for you!

On a serious note, I have been with Coldwell Banker for almost two years and its been a disappointing experience. I will say they have been able to quickly secure tenants for me, but they have absolutely no other strengths. Its probably best to pass these guys up and find a higher rated company.

Dorothy Mitchel was absolutely a pleasure to work with when we bought our house! We were moving here from MD so there was a lot of text & email correspondence & she answered every question & kept sending me listings. When we narrowed it down to the houses we wanted to see we came down & spent a few days looking & she was very knowledgeable about the area & helpful in answering questions I had regarding each home & what I might do to alter them to fit my handicap needs & even recommended contractors. Once we picked the house we wanted she was great in negotiating what we asked for & we got what we wanted. Once back in MD she continuously kept us informed of everything along the way ie, inspections, (old & new, the house had prev offers) & kept made sure work on the amendment to the sale was completed. She was fantastic, & let me tell you, I ask a lot of questions lol. I highly recommend her & her office if you're looking to buy a home! She's the best of the best!!!

I don't like how bills are paid to the contractors of their choosing without the homeowner authorizing the repair. This company, in my opinion, is more concerned with the contractors being paid and the company getting their commission before the homeowner is paid their rent. Further, the agent managing my property either does not have a handle on the policies and procedures of how to manage a property or she is just flat out dishonest. I want to believe that the latter is not true. I have had tenants in my home since mid August and I have not gotten a full month's rent yet, but Coldwell Banker's and all of their vendors have gotten paid each and every month. I wan to see a detailed invoice of the latest repairs done in my home and I want a new Agent. I would like to be contacted by the Broker or Managing Agent at Coldwell Banker, SSK ASAP. I would recommend that anyone interested in a management company to manage their property to do their research and not just rely on name recognition.

While the jury is still out on how the maintenance issues and the payments for those repairs are handled going forward, I am impressed at how quickly the management and staff responded to my review, my text messages my phone calls and my emails. Everyone seemed very attentive and generally concerned about my situation and everyone expressed a genuine desire to resolve my issues as soon as possible. For this I say, Thank You! I believe, through our dialogue, that we have set this relationship on a new course and I am excited to see the results.

I was a real pleasure working with Bea and her team over the past 11 years! As the property owner in Kathleen, GA, her team was always there for whatever issue occasionally happens (repairs, etc.). My top experiences had to do with their maintenance department...they were always available to take my phone calls/texts/emails...even getting repair estimates in a timely manner from several local professionals. Property management excelled in finding great tenants quickly, as well. I appreciated their occasional property inspections w/ pictures as needed, especially because I lived in central Illinois! They made the contracting aspect very simple for me & provided easy, log-in access to rental income/expense tracking through their website. I would definitely recommend Bea Barnes-Ott & her team...I really appreciated their help! Don't forget to take advantage of the CBSSK realtors (co-located) when it comes to buying/selling, as well...I used Jenny Bryant! Best buying experience I've ever had.
