My husband and I are one of Town homeowners. We moved in earlier this year and love our new home at City Village. The quality workmanship of Summerhill home is outstanding. We like the attention to details such as kitchen windows that have shelves built in together with the backsplash, TV niche and balcony sliding doors. We don't have a rodent issue. For the delayed solar system, the solar company will compensate us for the lost time we missed after move in. Our warranty rep kept us in the loop of what's going on and what time the solar company will come out and do the repair. We are extremely happy with our first new home here in City Village.

We purchased a Summerhill townhome in late 2023 and have been extremely disappointed with the build quality and communication from start to finish. We are experiencing problem after problem you just don’t come to expect from buying a new home. Just to name a few;

Our kitchen cabinets and kitchen island fell apart, we waited 3 months for a fix.

We have rodents INSIDE the home

Our solar was inactive for 30 days while Summerhill worked on a small “fix”

Our upstairs floors creak and there were exposed tack strips on the stairs.

Overall I would not recommended Summerhill to anyone, the price that these homes go for and the overall process has been extremely disappointing to say the least.

Why would anyone in their right mind purchase a $1.9M property without even getting a chance to tour it? We drove an hour to see a specific model, only to be told by the sales staff that they couldn't open it because it's scheduled for release in early June. They had the model ready, but refused to show us. Prospective buyers are expected to decide and submit paperwork within three hours, leaving little time for consideration. Despite the absurdity of the situation, the sales staff remained uncooperative.
