Stay as far away from this agent as possible! Dealt with the agent through my realtor in June/July of 2024. Found a property we loved, 316 Manning Road in Argillite, KY. We were looking to purchase a weekend getaway to eventually retire to full time…this house was perfect! So perfect to us, that we offered $60,000 over asking! Yes, you read that right. My agent wrote up the offer. I was approved for both a USDA loan (to use only to benefit us tax wise) and a conventional loan. Offered both write ups (conventional and $50,000 earnest money offered when the selling agent had no idea how a USDA loan worked….whatever, conventional loan was fine). As an added bonus, we could also close in 15-20 days. Should be a slam dunk, right? Ha! The selling agent accused us of not being able to afford the loan….what the hell?!? I make well over 6 figures, offered $50,000 cash in earnest funds, and even offered copies of my paystubs to her (not that she ever had any right to ask these questions, but we really wanted the property)! After speaking to the seller's family, we find out she pushed an offer for way less than ours, convincing the sellers my offer was high risk, costing the sellers to lose out on an additional $20,000 profit! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the house was sold for $20,000 less than our rock solid offer. This woman sold to someone she wanted and knew….which is illegal, by the way. She completely victimized the sellers and stole from them. While that in itself is tragic, we were heartbroken. Nonetheless, we purchased twice the acreage and spent an additional $250,000 on a comparable property across the river, which ended up being more than we ever imagined and we love it….proving everything happens for a reason. But people like Cindy Conley Jones should be held accountable for their backhanded practices. I truly believe this woman is a disgusting and disgraceful individual. She is only out to benefit and represent herself; she does not have your back as your agent. I wouldn’t trust her to sell my used shoes. I cannot wait for the Ashland Area Board of Realtors and the Kentucky Real Estate Commission to start their investigations into this sale!

Cindy was great from the first meeting, to the end of the process when our house officially sold/closed. At the initial consult, her years of experience were really helpful in all the suggestions she made to help make the house display/show as best as possible. She was very helpful in providing contacts and getting a contractor lined up for the things we wanted to fix prior to listing. Cindy Conley Jones met with us about selling our home. She told us what she would do and what she expected to happen, if we would listen to her advice. We were skeptical at first, but trusted her because she was so knowledgeable. Our house hit the MLS listing on Monday morning and by 10 am we had appointments to show. By Wednesday evening (same week) we had 7 offers and many for more than asking price. Cindy is friendly and professional and knows the Real Estate business. She did all the work in selling our home, and has kept us informed throughout process. We highly recommend her!!! Just trust her years of experience and knowledge!
