We had such a great experience working with Julio to buy our very first home in Culver City! As first time home buyers, we didn't know what to expect and were pretty intimidated heading to the competitive housing market, especially during Covid. We found Julio and were excited by how knowledgeable he was about the Culver City area. Julio has a ton of experience and is well-respected by other realtors in the area which gave us a leg up on the competition since others want to work with him.
Julio started out by taking us on a driving tour to teach us about the core Culver City neighborhoods. As we got deeper into the process, Julio was patient as we figured out what we liked, and picked up on our taste even faster than we figured it out ourselves. He did a great job working with our busy schedules. He struck the right balance between giving us space but also a gentle nudge when we needed it to make sure we stayed on top of viewing homes we were interested in and keeping up with paperwork.
Once we found the home we loved, Julio guided us completely through the process of making our offer. He had a lot of insight into when a home was under vs. overpriced and provided us with comps for homes in the area. He also set us up with sample letters we could provide to the seller to give us an advantage. When our offer was accepted, Julio attended all of the inspections and gave us summaries of all of the findings as well as advised us on how to negotiate the credits. Julio poked our lender and escrow officer as needed to ensure we were on track to close on time.
Throughout the process he was extremely communicative and proactive about providing us with updates on the status of every aspect of the home buying process.
