My husband and I would not have picked any other builder to build our forever home! Our experience with using Castle Rock builders was absolutely amazing. From the first-time meeting with John, Chuck, and Tommy, we knew these were the guys to make our dream home happen. And they most certainly exceeded our expectations!
We knew building a home would be stressful and overwhelming at times, but it never felt that way while working with Castle Rock builders. They made the entire process easier than we thought. The guys were constantly on top of things and kept us informed via email or phone call.
The quality of our beautiful Brentwood is something we never thought we would get to build. Going with a custom home build was the best choice. The attention to detail that Castle Rock puts into their work definitely shows! We cannot express how thankful and appreciative we are for our beautiful home!

In 2016 my wife and I bought some property with the hope of one day building our forever home. Through three different home builders coupled with the loss of several thousand dollars in deposits over the course 7 years, my bride did some additional research and found Castle Rock Builders. We contacted Castle Rock to see if they were able to build a home that my wife designed, and they said “absolutely”.

During our discussions with Castle Rock, we were invited to check out a home currently under construction and we were very impressed with the craftsmanship, design style, and professionalism displayed. From the start of our home, working with the team was easy and we were confident we made the right decision every step of the way.

Our home is now finished, and we cannot speak highly enough of Castle Rock Builders. They turned what started out as a nightmare into an unbelievable dream come true. John, Chuck, and Tom made the stressful and overwhelming home building process that everyone talks about such a breeze. A big consideration we had when selecting a builder was communication, and we knew Castle Rock was ahead of the rest right from our initial emails with John in which he provided quick responses packed with details answering any and all of our questions. This outstanding communication continued as we received weekly updates on the build and we knew exactly what was planned for that week.

During the planning process, Tom and John thoroughly explained the pros/cons to all of the selections, offering their opinions and things to consider without ever pushing us one way or another. Tom’s attention to even the smallest detail was incredible. He wanted everything to be perfect during our final walk thru, not only because we were there, but because his name stood behind it and that meant a lot to us.

This is over forever home and we love everything about it. If we end up building another home, we know exactly where to go, Castle Rock Builders.

My wife and I custom designed our home and interviewed quite a few builders looking for the right one. Rather than asking for a pre-screened list of references from each builder, we went to the county and got a list of building permits pulled by each. We sent letters to some of those homeowners asking for feedback. Everyone who had built with Castle Rock had nothing but good things to say. Unlike many of the other builders, Castle Rock was also not afraid of all of the crazy specs/requirements we threw at them (sorry Chuck!). When building of the house I would occasionally notice things that a contractor had done incorrectly and would call Tom up to let him know. Tom would answer the phone already knowing why I was calling and would tell me he already had the subcontractors back on the way to fix it. There were also a few unfortunate issues outside of Castle Rock's control that they handled very well. For example, when we were getting close to our final walk through our expensive new refrigerator’s ice maker solenoid split and leaked water all over the new hardwood floor. Castle Rock immediately pulled up the flooring to replace it and to let the sub floor dry out. We've now been in the house for a full year and we are still in love with it. Thanks Tom, John, Chuck, Sean, and the rest of the people who had a hand in working on our home!

From being patient with us and even checking in on us as we had a slow start waiting for our old house to sell to making sure everything got moving quickly once we were ready. They were always there for us and responded to all our questions and concerns. John was great with keeping us updated and informed throughout the whole process. He provides you with weekly emails on what to expect for that week. Tom was amazing and already knew the answers to our questions before we even asked them. He made sure everything ran smoothly. They really allowed us to customize our home and put our vision into reality. We would not have chosen anyone else to build our dream home!

Two words: CUSTOM and Quality. We wanted a CUSTOM home built on our lot. CastleRock Builders truly delivered. We worked with Chuck to customize (not just a few options but our own details) into the house. From cathedral ceilings change to custom master bath to custom flooring. Chuck make the design our home. We were able to choose many of our own items which is unheard of for most builders. Quality: every aspect of the house was done very well. The quality of items and workmanship or actually craftsmanship was top notch. Pleasantly surprised with a custom home, there were really no big surprises. There were upgrades and changes, but Chuck and John keep excellent records and explained every detail. John provided weekly updates which kept us informed of the weeks activities. Tom ensured every detail and item was done to the highest standards and on time. If you are looking for a real custom home, do not look further than Castle Rock Builders! We had the pleasure of working with Castle Rock building our home. You cannot go wrong with John, Chuck, and Tom. They are truly skilled people who have the patience of saint. From our first contact with John and throughout the building process, to working out the finer details with Chuck, to talking with Tom during the day-to-day construction, we could not be happier.

The home is everything my wife and I wanted, even more so with little touches that Castle Rock added. For example, the crown moulding on our columns is simply awesome. We're not talking the the cheap details that volume builders tend to add. We're talking detail-oriented. And that's what really set Castle Rock apart. Everything is about quality an customer satisfaction. The home is a cut above typical new home construction. They don't use cheap materials. They don't cut corners. It's a solid house that we're looking for to growing old in.

There were a few issues that came up during construction (as with all new construction), some completely out of the ordinary, and Castle Rock addressed each one without hesitation. Not only that, but they kept me up to date with everything. You're never left out the dark. Communication is fantastic. In the end, everything came together perfectly.

I think the biggest thing that sets them apart is the pride they take in their work. You can tell that they genuinely care about the product. We could not be happier.
