I wish I could leave a zero star review. I understand we need more housing, and am not generally against “development”, it’s just that this one doesn’t seem right. Open space is an important part of our collective experience as coty dwellers and the wild life this space supports makes it extra special. We are privileged to live in such a huge city while still being able to access spaces like this. A gated community here would take a lot away without barely giving anything back.

Keep your sick development off this Cougar’s land! The people of Los Angeles need our beautiful ecology intact if we want a chance for climate resilience. Endangered species (Crotch’s Bee, Davidson’s Bushmallow, and the Puma) call this mountain their home! They rely on this habitat for their survival. How dare the Canyon Hills Development think they have the right to kill the thousands of trees, plants and animals that depend on this mountain to build the ugliest most wasteful form of housing they possibly can. They can’t even get fire insurance it’s such a terrible idea!

Let's stop this from happening and preserve one of our last bits of nature in LA and literally my backyard. We need more green, open spaces and not a cluster of luxury homes. This doesn't solve any of our city's problems, it's just a greedy land grab by millionaire profiteers.

An insane idea to develop this land for a space where people cannot walk, where natural balance will be destroyed, animals killed and plants desiccated. No luxury housing should be built here. Do the right thing. No Canyon Hills Development!

Gross place, bad greedy people. The company has shady practices and even worse communication. Developing over natural preserves for a quick buck and ugly over priced townhouses. The areas in a high risk fire area so good luck getting insurance to those poor unsuspecting home owners who didn’t do their research

If I could share a negative star I would! The insatiable greed of humans destroying everything within our world. Everyone was sad when P-22 was hit by a car and euthanized... did that sadness last like 5min.? Did we learn nothing? Shame on you all for even posing this idea. What is actually wrong with you people? Do you not see what is happening around you or are you blinded my money.

If this project goes through, I hope the neighborhood is plagued with turmoil and it all burns to the ground.

0/10 since when does the luxury aspirations of 250 people trump the lifeline of hundreds of struggling wild animals? Enough of this hubris and greediness!! No to canyon hills. It is a death sentence for the wild animals and this sacred land deserves to remain pristine.
