We rented from this company for a little less than 2 years. When we would bring issues to them and they would neglect the issue. When we left this 800 square foot duplex, they charged a 9 hour cleaning fee after we ourselves spent hours cleaning the place. Seems as though they're too cheap to pay the cleaning company in between tenants like they should and charge the previous tenants for standard maintenance. Just be cautious renting from them.

Deserves a smaller rating if possible, very unresponsive and without a doubt less caring as a land lord by the look of the reviews.
I tried for over 2 weeks to get my application reviewed and processed just for NOTHING to be done, had to contact via text/phone and email COUNTLESS times but they took zero effort into giving a response back. Is this supposed to be a family owned that are extremely lazy? Their is ZERO excuse why in the smallest city around frankfort it would take over 2 weeks to review someone who makes well over the amount required, honestly its pathetic and didn't end up working with this company. Took every other company in Danville, Lexington, Frankfort less than a couple days to hear back from them but they struggle to give a response in a small city 😐 and use the excuse of cleaning, been busy, submitting countless applications LMAO yall are not that busy, yall just lazy.
Dont work with these people, seriously.

My 19-year-old granddaughter with an 18-month-old baby, put a deposit of $825 down for 224 Hunter Ridge in Lawrenceburg. Even before the people that were leaving there are moved out. Only to have an emergency three days later financially drained did she contact this landlord to tell her she would not be able to rent this duplex. And ask if she could have her $825 returned to her so she could take care of unexpected expenses. They refused to give her her $825 even though the apartment had not been completely vacated or cleaned For a new tenant. She is a young mother who has unexpected struggles and is in a big financial strain. I would hope a company as big as Burkhead realty could find the goodness in their heart to return this young mother her funds of $825 which she so desperately needs. What a shame to take advantage of young struggling people. A Christian young mom at that.

These Landlords are rude and bring whatever into there places for rent including Drugs. They don't care if you pay on time or not. I have family members that paid 10 years with no problems and these people took over less then 6 months ago and they kicked them to the curb and now there doing a close friend the same. And we are talking about good people being done wrong. Keeping deposits that can't there's and evicting people with no calls whatsoever very poor landlords do not believe me go to Lawrenceburg for rent site on Facebook and take a look at the reviews there's more than just 2 reviews here on Google for them. I would stay far away from these people!

This company runs an Airbnb that we rented to surprise a friend for her 30th. The rules of the Airbnb did say no more than 6 people could stay at the Airbnb, which we were abiding by - but we did have about 9 people there for the surprise. When friend arrived, she had her dog with her. Shortly after, the landlord called as he had been monitoring us on camera. He began yelling at us for the dog and for having more than 6 people. We assured him that the dog was leaving and that no more than 6 would be staying. He went ON AND ON yelling - but we finally got him to calm down and we seemed to be in agreement that everything was okay as long as the dog left. We were in the process of figuring out what to do with the dog/when we could get him somewhere when the landlord’s MOM pulls right into the front yard in her pickup truck, grandchildren in the back, SCREAMING at us and threatening to call the cops. Which she did. It was a whole ordeal. Neighbors came outside to watch and everything. The neighbors AND the cops all said she did this regularly and this company has even sued the police department, before. We are so mad about how this all went down. It was so unnecessary. Summing up my statement to say, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Awful, greedy people! Not professional. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT- NO MATTER WHAT! PRAYERS FOR THESE PITIFUL PEOPLE. WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE of the struggling, and the innocent. Let me reiterate- DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. WE WERE WARNED AND DID NOT LISTEN.
