Absolutely DO NOT use this contractor. He uses a third party GC license and does not do honest work. He was hired to build a property wall with block and stucco. He dropped off nonskilled laborers to perform skilled work, never finished the project was overpaid and left a complete mess in my yard and in the neighboring property's. He never finished his contract work which cost me over 25% more to hire a professional company to finish and clean up his work. He is NOW SUIING ME for his inability to perform his contract work. Read the latest reviews before you hire people like this is my warning.

This GC is terrible! I hired him at the end of 2022 to build a simple 416 SF addition to our house. He charged double for design work and is now SUING me because I refused to pay twice for it! In addition, he did not credit back a cancelled change order, and he was extremely dishonest as to a credit amount on the cancellation of part of the project after he bought the wrong size and style door. This was after I had sent him a link to the correct door months prior!

This GC's lack of experience, knowledge, and attention to detail was a constant source of exasperation throughout this project, which took much longer than it should have because of his shortcomings, costing me thousands in interest payments that would not have had to have been made had he known what he was doing.

I don't recall him ever taking a single note in any of our meetings/discussions, and the hundreds of emails between us are reflective of that. I often had to tell him the same things over and over again.

The pullout pantry we wanted, mentioned on day one, was not included when they placed the cabinets on the left side of the kitchen towards the end of the project. His response was to forward a drawing of the right side of the kitchen (the only side drawn because of a change order), indicating it wasn't in that drawing -- seriously! I ended up purchasing a pantry with my own funds, which was never credited.

I had to schedule a meeting with this GC, the designer, and the county to get to the bottom of why he was not able to get the building permit approved after several attempts and months (excavation started in February 2023 while we still had no approved permit by early June). He and his designers repeatedly asserted that we could have a cooktop but no oven to avoid the firewall requirement, yet they kept getting denied. The minute we sat down with the county rep., she informed us that we could have an oven, but not a cooktop. How does a GC working in Orange County not know something so fundamental?!?

Speaking of fundamental, this GC quoted a project that included a kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washing machine, but did not include a water heater – unbelievable! This gross error cost us much more than it should have, as the electric panel had to be increased, which included drywall repair and other additional costs. There are just no words to describe that kind of incompetence.

I had to constantly keep on top this GC to ensure the project was finally properly done. When I hired this GC, I knew he was young and appeared inexperienced. I relied on the fact that his father has built houses in NC and decided to give someone new a chance. Everyone has to have their first big project, and you hope they go above and beyond for the opportunity. This GC definitely did not do that. Personally, it appeared to me that he expected to do as little as possible and reap benefits he didn't deserve.

Very professional service. They were at my house on time and did not keep me waiting which I appreciate . I had given them the wrong location of where to get the lock for the door and they were smart enough to figure out where it was that I had purchased the door that needed a new lock.

Fast and accurate workmanship. I will use them again in the future. Most of all I liked their friendly and helpful manner.
