If you’re super lonely then this is the place for you!! You’ll be calling maintenance so often it will feel like you’re hanging out with your besties. Things require fixing so often that you’ll get to know which guy is on call after hours and when. My water heater goes out once per week, the alarm loves to chirp in the middle of the night no matter how often you replace the batteries, I’ve never seen so many light bulbs need replacing, the windows are so cheap they develop mold and the seals are so bad it’s freezing in the winter and swampy in the summer.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Van Metre Broadlands Apartment during my apartment search, and I must say the hospitality I experienced was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and valued as a potential tenant.

Naurin Ayub exhibited a high level of professionalism. she was courteous, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right apartment. I appreciated their patience in answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had.

The best decision you will make is to move here!!!! The community is nice and the property is well maintained. If you have dogs, this couldn't be a better place. They have an onsite dog park and there's plenty of trails to get that heart pumping. The community offers many styles of apartments, I occupy a 1 bed and1bath. Let me just say, it is so nice!!! There's high ceilings that make the floor plan feel so open. Big and deep tubs for your pet grooming needs. My apartment also came with a nice little shielded sitting area outside the back door. With plenty of room to grill or place a little fire-pit. What also makes this community great, is the wonderful staff!!! They are the epitome of customer service!!!!! I feel at ease knowing that they always keep the community in the know of what's going on. I love the engaging creative activities they plan, it really makes the community fun. These are the many reasons why I will be renewing my lease come July!!!

We lived at Broadlands for over two years and had almost zero problems the whole time. Move in and move out was easy, our apartment was very clean upon move in and any maintenance issues we encountered over the years were quickly resolved by the friendly maintenance crew.
The community was friendly and always clean, parking was always good, the nearby trails were great for walking or running. The internet included always worked great and was fast and reliable.
The only downside seemed to be that the price was a little above average, but for the environment and community they provided, it seemed to be worth it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to move.

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience since living here Anna & Jennifer in the office are literally amazing. I’ve been treated like straight family. Maintenance is quick and sufficient. Neighbors are super kind. I love it here, highly recommend!!

Update: very happy to have Andrew as well, he is the perfect asset to the team. He definitely goes above expectations!!

When I applied through their portal, they displayed a lower monthly rent and collected a $400 registration fee. However, on the confirmation page, only the $400 fee was shown, and there was no indication of the monthly rent or the moving date. This lack of documentation leaves me without any proof of our agreement.

A few days later, I received a welcome letter from the leasing office with an additional $75 monthly rent increase, which they attributed to a change in the moving date. Interestingly, when I initially applied on their website for the same moving date, the rate was $75 lower.

Furthermore, their welcome note clearly mentioned a $400 registration fee waiver, but they are now denying it due to the moving date discrepancy, which is a new development.

It appears they are engaging in deceptive business practices, and I believe this should be reported to the Virginia Department of Consumer Services. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please let me know, as we may need to file a joint report.

First things first, if your looking for a great family safe environment, stop looking. We moved here about a.year ago and haven't regretted it at all. Second, I am amazed at how close and supportive the leasing and maintenance members are. Anna and Naurin went above and beyond to help me. Honestly, almost brought me to tears at how supportive they were. To sum up what it's like to live at Broadlands Apartments...this is home. Make it your home too.

Love the community, amenities, proximity to shopping and healthcare. All staff are helpful and experienced. Growth brings new challenges and changes. Perhaps speed limits need to be reviewed, and better monitoring of trash standards as I'm seeing junk being left around the common grounds since rent controls were put in place.
