Bluerock Builders did an excellent job on our basement remodel which included 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bath, storage and a theater room. Dave and his team did an outstanding job of walking us through all the options and timeline. The project ran on time and on budget, and looks fantastic.

We loved working with Bluerock to remodel our home. The project cost more than we anticipated and took longer than expected, both of which were not surprising given the current state of the construction market in Utah.

Dave was great throughout the process, especially in the pre construction phase as we worked with Jewkes Design to put our ideas on paper. He helped us craft a plan to remove a wall between the kitchen and dining room with use of a large steal beam to open up our space and greatly increase the size and functionality of our kitchen, including a beautiful wall in pantry.

Duncan helped us stay in the loop as we navigated the demolition and rebuild process.

I am grateful we chose to work with Dave and Bluerock as we turned our home more into the spaces we envisioned when we purchased our home. Bluerock will help you create a beautiful new build or remodel.

Hot dog!!!! I cannot say enough good things about Dave and his team here at Bluerock!!! I’ve been working with Dave to design and build on a lot I acquired in Draper, UT. And believe me when I say that I tell everyone about my experience-heck, even the self checkout machine at Target knows about Dave, much to the chagrin of my wife who has a knack for secondary embarrassment. Let’s just say, that’ll be cured once the house Dave is building is done because it’ll be the most beautifully crafted dwelling my wife has ever set foot in! I’ve seen other projects he’s completed and the craftsmanship is second to none. The attention to detail is flawless!

Dave has spent years in the industry and has refined stone-aged processes in a way that outshines the competition at every level! He is a student of the industry for the benefit of the client! It’s hard to find that in a professional in any industry these days!

I know the Google algorithm loves photos and because the home isn’t done yet all I have is some high end digital rendering screen shots of what the project will eventually be for your viewing pleasure.

We had a great experience with Bluerock Builders. They finished a theater room in our basement. Dave was super easy to work with and was always responsive to our questions and ideas. They finished on time and under budget. We will definitely call them again for future projects.

Terrible communication. Avoiding subcontractors that need to get paid. It has been a terrible experience working with this company. All we ask for is an update on when we can expect to get paid from a job we completed 3 months ago.

Attached is an example of the work WE did for this company. This is not Blue Rock nor Carpets America. Please do not take credit for our flooring work. You did not lace this floor in. You hired a subcontractor, us, to install and color match this floor to the designers satisfaction and they ONLY wanted us to work on their floor.

They finally responded with threats of suing and and not taking responsibility for all the extra work they made us do because the supervisor Duncan and the project manager Dave were not on the same page and made us redo things because they werent communicationg with each other nor the customer of how they wanted things done. In the end the only one conned into free labor was us. We did as they asked every time having to redo because they all had different plans in mind. It was a difficult customer, but we kept doing as asked and now they refused to pay.

We took on a huge addition that cost more than we wanted and took longer than expected. But we are so happy we chose BlueRock. As is the nature of this kind of project, I suspect any other builder would have also cost more and taken longer. What's different about BlueRock is how they walked us through and communicated everything every step of the way. Duncan was a fantastic project manager, juggling all the subcontractors, schedules, and ensuring the work was done with the best quality and a standard we expected. Duncan was especially good at keeping us informed of daily activity so we were prepared aware of the plan and progress. Dave and Duncan and their crew were great listeners and always kind, offering solutions to challenges and questions. They became great friends and we liked having them over.
We are SO very happy with the end result of our addition and would not only do it again, but we would also choose BlueRock again.
