HIGHLY recommend Big Yeti Builders if you are looking for a deck building company! From their upfront honesty and knowledge of everything that needs to go into a deck. To their team of professionals and craftsmanship, Big Yeti Builders went above and beyond our expectations for our deck!
On day one they came in with all of the materials already preset to start the project. Tore down our original deck in one day and cleaned up after themselves leaving no trace of leftover materials. Secured our new deck into the cement with anchors so well that this deck isn’t moving!
After 4 days in the bitter cold of January we now have a beautiful, stately deck that will last for several decades, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Big Yeti did an excellent job at building our outdoor kitchen. They were one of the few companies willing to take on this unique and challenging project. They had a great crew that walked us through every step of the way and overall it was a reasonable price for all the work they did. The craftsmanship was impressive with the steel and the attention to detail. Sias, Derek and Kim all work wonders. My only complaint is it was a bit slow moving at times as it took nearly 6 months but we weren’t in a huge hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m very impressed at the work and will be checking with them for any potential future projects!

The quality of our deck build is exceptional. I have two family members that had decks built by Big Yeti and they are both fantastic. The decks they build are remarkably sturdy. These guys are great. We spent months getting bids before we found Sias. Sias is super professional and detail oriented. He really impressed me with how he has codified every aspect of deck building within his practice so that every detail is correct every time.

Ryan and his crew were very professional, on-time, and kept to their schedule. My wife is due any day now with our new baby and Sias and the crew made sure the deck was complete before our due date. They had a minor problem come up during construction and went above and beyond to address it.

They use top quality lumber and composite materials. All posts and joists are straight and true. All hardware is high quality powder coated. All joists are top-taped. Interfaces between deck and house are properly flashed and finished. Deck is over-engineered and feels rock solid. They provide a very high quality and well though-out product.

We are very happy with the entire process and the end product.

Out of all of our bids, Sias spent the time to educate us on the entire process and the products they use. They were able to move us up a week early (yeah) and complete a 13x20 deck in two and a half days. Amazing work by your team Sias!

I cannot recommend Big Yeti Builders enough. We have had so many poor experiences with builders in the past, that we wanted to make sure we found a team that would care about our project as much as we did. These guys fit the bill and more. We had them build our dream custom deck for us which included some home renovations (adding a second door out to the deck from our master bedroom and fixing a bathroom after a solar installer fell through the ceiling).

Sias was meticulous in designing, organizing, and planning out the project and also had great communication. Ryan's crew that performed the work were professional, courteous, on-time, performed high quality work, and were always happy to answer questions.

The thing I appreciated the most about these guys (apart from their impeccable quality) is that they partnered well on finding solutions for unforeseen issues that came up throughout the build. No project ever goes according to plan, so finding a builder that manages the unexpected well is critical.

I will be using Big Yeti builders exclusively for any future home projects. They are truly a beautiful unicorn in the construction industry. They care where most others do not. Great people running a great company. I can't wait for spring so that we can start using our new favorite space of our home.

So worth it! Sias was great at designing a deck according to our needs and ideals. Communication was clear and timely. Answers to our questions were clear, concise and thoughtfully researched. Derek and his crew cleared their mess daily and repaired a minor issue with gutter. All our neighbors watched the progress and commented on how well made the deck is. I’ve already given out Big Yeti recommendations several times to admirers of their work.

We were very impressed with Big Yeti. Price was below the majority of the bids we got. Every one wanted to sell us Trex. Sias had me sold on the better quality Envision composite that’s made better to stand up to Utahs weather. Plus it’s 25% cooler! Right there was a big seller alone. Kim back at the offices was great at keeping us updated on the progress at each step. Me and the wife would recommend them over and over.
