I had an extremely disappointing experience with this title company. Despite having no valid reason to refuse me service, they declined to assist me in a transaction where I was paying cash and hiring them directly—not through a bank. Instead of protecting my interests as their client, they appeared to prioritize my realtor’s agenda, failing to act impartially. After my experience, I looked into their reviews and noticed a pattern of similar complaints—clearly, I am not the only one who has faced issues with their professionalism and integrity. I strongly advise others to pay attention to these negative reviews and avoid this company. Instead, I highly recommend Springdale Titles, where I received professional, courteous service without bias or discrimination.

I have closed on two properties with BesTitle myself and work with them often as a lender in the area. I see reviews stating that “they do not return phone calls.” At times, it does take BT a few hours (at maximum) to call me or my clients back, HOWEVER they are always so busy because they are GOOD at what they do. The team at BesTitle conducts multiple closings a day.. They aren’t simply setting at a desk with a phone right in front of them. They go into great detail at closings so their clients are educated on the paperwork they are signing. Their Escrow Officers leave no question unanswered. The team there often work past 5 p.m. to meet the deadlines necessary. Often the things that happen are completely out of their control, yet they are the team who fix the issues in order to move forward in a real estate transaction. They are a wonderful team, who are knowledgeable and CARE about their clients. Real estate is extremely stressful and fast-paced and the BT team handles it flawlessly and with kindness, at all times. Thank you Christy, Kelli, Kelsey, Larry and ALL members of the Ashland BesTitle office for all you do for the clients in our area!!!

We were kept informed and were listened to if we had a question and they were answered with all "I" dotted and "t" crossed. If you are looking to buy or sell by all means go with Bes Title Agency.

Avoid these people. Phone calls are not answered, nor returned. Obligations and deadlines are not kept. Irresponsible handling of my money and property brought me to this review. Good luck folks.

I have had two experiences with Best title - both were terrible. In 2021 we were contacted to give a review and the experience was so unacceptable that the owner gave us a complete refund. Again we are dealing with them, had a closing today, We cannot get in contact with the office. They do not return phone calls. We have left multiple messages over the last week. I would not recommend anyone use this service if they can avoid it. They do not do appropriate research and do not even reach out to the customers for information when it is appropriate and have given us wrong information both times on both closings, causing undue stress and both closings were delayed. We are now waiting for funds in escrow - its 2pm and no return phone call, no one answers the office phone, and they have not carried out their job - unfortunately this was not surprising. I would invite anyone to open a title agency in Ashland KY it would be a great opportunity to earn money if you can manage a business and answer the telephone.

They had to delay our closing several times, due to issues with our arrival. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Thanks to them, we got into our new home instead of spending the weekend in a hotel and keeping our belongings in a U-Haul truck.

We did an out of town signing mid-Feb for a home we sold in the Ashland area, when we received the check it was almost $700 less than the paperwork we signed with the notary. Not once were we contacted via email (which is how we had been communicating) concerning the change, yet they claim they knew the day of our closing - and we even spoke with them DURING the closing and still no mention? Worse yet, they even confirmed the amount shown was the amount of the check we would be mailed. Over a month later and we are still awaiting answers, documentation of changes and the rest of our money. Beware when using the Ashland branch...BesTitle needs to consider a name change and a review of their business practices.
*UPDATE**
After reaching out to the COO of the company (over a month after closing) our questions were answered and issues resolved. While I would not recommend the Ashland branch, I would say once we reached people who would listen and answer our questions the experience became much better. Thank you Tim for the assistance!

Absolutely the worse closing business in Ashland Ky. When you call numerous times a day and leave messages for a return call day after day, 2 weeks in a row then you have a Bad business. It’s rude, unprofessional and unacceptable. On week 7 of trying to close with this bunch, we are not at all happy, hope we never have to experience another closing with Bestitle.
