This was the second time working with Janis at Berkshire Hathaway in Anchorage. If I had her in 2021, I believe I wouldn’t have had the headaches I faced trying to sell my first income property.

I’m lucky to have found Janis. She did a exemplary job selling our home and second income property. Janis was able to find a buyer before our properties went on the market….Both times! She kept us well informed throughout the whole process and even set up an open house to get the best price for our home. In the end, Janis was able to secure 10% over our initial asking price. Janis is genuinely nice and a truly professional realtor.

She kept in contact regularly, showed my place personally when someone without a realtor wanted to see it, let me make the decisions regarding the pricing but provided advice when asked, and I could not have asked for a better experience in selling my home. As a first time homebuyer I came to the table chock full of questions; Corey was able to either answer them off the cuff or use his resources to make sure I got the answers I was looking for. Corey took the time, from the start, to discuss with me my needs and wants in a home and then led me to numerous options, even in a limited market, that appeared a good fit; we toured a number of them over the course of a few weeks and ultimately landed on one to pursue.

Corey made the negotiation process easy and ultimately helped get me the deal I was looking for. Once under initial contract, there were a few minor hangups, primarily on account of the particular loan program I had pursued; Corey made sure that the hangups were kept just strictly minor and he communicated the situation well to both myself and to the sellers, helping everyone to feel confident that we would close in as timely a fashion as was possible.

When closing time came Corey was right there with me to help me understand what exactly it was I was signing and to answer any further questions I might have had. I felt so confident in Corey and his abilities that it relieved a lot of would be stress that I would have likely otherwise had throughout the home buying process.
