I am so pleased with my new bathroom. It turned out exactly like I had wanted. Ben also remodeled a neighbor’s bathroom. After seeing his work and being highly recommend by my neighbor I chose his company. I was not disappointed. They gave me quality work with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Ben The Builder’s company just finished a remodel on our basement bath and kitchenette.
They did an outstanding job!! Very professional. Stayed within the budget..except for a water main problem. Most workers are local individual workers with a few subcontractors like SOS plumbing and Ashland electric.
ALL OF THEM DID A GREAT JOB.

We had a great experience with Ben. This was our first experience with a contractor and we were very satisfied with both the work that was done and the bidding process. We had a bathroom remodeled, the project was done within the timeframe that Ben gave us, the project with within budget and the quality of work was excellent. Plus, as we have young children - Ben and his staff were great with them! Very happy with our experience.

My husband and I did not get beyond the planning phase so this review is based on our experience with that. We paid them $2342 to begin the plan and budget for updating our home. We had drawn up a house plan but were flexible so that we could maximize the satisfaction with the end result and minimize, where it was possible, the budget. They emailed a budget based on our sketch with little to no feedback or direction on budget friendly alternatives which caused us to just omit things or take some of the work on ourselves. Initially, we had the reasonable assumption that the budget could go down based on the materials we chose. When we asked for the deck, part of the original plan, to be included they sent an estimate for $57,122. This was for a single level composite deck and stairs with metal railings at aprox. 220 square feet on a gentle slope 8-10 ft. off of the ground. When we asked about an all wood deck thinking that would reduce the cost he replied, "I have changed the decking and railing to wood, this increases the budget by $2047." Still, no explanation or feedback. Based on our further research, standard wood decking materials are cheaper. Their response felt cold and confusing considering we needed a budget friendly plan. We had no choice but to assume this approach would be applied to the entire project. When we expressed concern we were met with the price is the price type of reasoning. My advise, before you pay anyone any money, get a synopsis in writing of what you will actually receive. If it's their "time and expertise" you are paying for, then there should be something tangible to show for that beyond really high uncompromising estimates. For any contractors reading this, honesty and respect go a long way.

Looking around our vacant Ashland bungalow, we realized everything was damaged, worn out, broken, outdated or just plain unattractive. We wondered how we could possibly undertake a complete renovation of our beloved little home. It became clear that we would need a competent contractor who could take everything out and away, and start over! Luckily, we knew of Ben the Builder. Several months later, we met Ben and his foreman, John, at the property for our final walk through. What an amazing transformation! Every aspect of the job was handled at the highest level, from design and installation of a new energy efficient heat/AC system to design and installation of a completely remodeled kitchen and bath, to all new floors, paint, hardware, laundry, attic insulation!

Ben and Rachel were an absolute pleasure to work with, knowledgeable and flexible and creative as they walked us through all the choices we needed to make before the job began, and throughout the duration of the job. The work was done according our predetermined schedule, and involved a number of subcontractors who gave the job their highest effort. Cabinets, paint, plumbing, electrical - all came together for a fabulous final result. We give Ben the Builder and his team the highest possible grade and enthusiastically recommend him for any type of building project. Five stars!

We had a great experience with Ben Treiger and his crew on our recent remodel. Ben has a keen eye for aesthetic results and had excellent suggestions as we explored different options. The crew was great—keeping us well-informed on a daily basis with next steps planned, when subcontractors would show, when one of us was needed for decisions, etc. The project leaders and all employees were 100% competent and experienced as well as friendly, attentive, patient and respectful. They created a sheet-plastic wall surrounding the work area so no dust escaped into the rest of the house. The project was completed in the time planned and the crew thoroughly cleaned before leaving. We could not have been happier and would highly recommend Ben to anyone.
