Zero integrity. If I could leave zero stars I would. I’m generally a pretty laid back individual and not fond of people who leave bad reviews on someone’s business and livelihood, however, these people totally lack integrity.

There were a couple Beck trucks at the business next door to my house for several weeks, I assumed it was a job site. One of the trucks backed into my fence, breaking it and knocking the posts down and then drove off. I caught it on video. I approached the business owner and told her what happened. She saw the video and denied that it was a Beck truck (despite the logo in plain sight under the side view mirror) and said it was unassociated with her or her business…Turns out her husband works for Beck.

I called Beck directly and spoke with Tara and shared the video, she said it was indeed a supervisors truck and that someone would reach out to me. I waited a week and then called back and spoke with Heather, re-explained the hit and run and she said the same, someone would be in contact. After another week of no communication, I wrote Garen Beck (the owner) an email and got no response.

So, I filed a hit and run with law enforcement.

Can’t comment on their excavation skills but I’m a believer that how you do anything is how you do everything.

Pedestrian accidentally spilled paint buckets in the middle of the road on 3300 south and I can’t remember the west but the guy stop traffic to help pick up the spillage. He didn’t have to but knowing that he went out of his way not knowing if he’s on a time crunch was really nice of him, and very considerate. It happened around 8:45 AM On October 21st. I’m not sure if these trucks have GPS on them to be able to look this driver up and give him kudos

If you have any other choice do not I repeat do not work with Beck Construction. They worked with Sandy City to put a sidewalk in front of a few houses in my neighborhood. While we were out of town they used our hose without permission and pulled on it too hard which caused a leak in my basement.

They cause $7k worth of damage so far and they are denying they ever used my hose. Initially they tell me that I need to have my insurance work with Jordan Valley Water. Long story short I got the 2 step and they tell me it is my responsibility to pay for the flooding they caused.

If there was a way to rank them any lower believe me I would. Absolutely the worst construction company in the city.

DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL!!!

Beck is currently involved in the City construction on the gutter/sewer lines on my block. The consctructi-bros repeatedly leave garbage in my yard, along with steal beams and other construction materials, and then when they have the whole blasted block blocked off as a working right-of-way they still park their equipment over the weekend outside of that area reducing the limited parking to 0.

These guys are replacing curb and gutter, and sidewalk on 5615 South. Awesome job, considerate, conscious, polite. They have almost completed one side of the street eve in this weather. I am a construction inspector and I am sure happy they are on this job.

The owner of this company ran into our garbage cans with his truck and knocked our garbage all over the street. He left without picking any of it up. We have him on camera doing this and when we confronted him about it, he denied it happened. When we told him we had cameras, he said we could complain to the owner, who was him and smirked. Completely unprofessional.
