Mr. Gradin was the architect who designed the rebuilding of our home in Hawaii. Besides his tremendous talent as an architect, Kirk brought a great artistic flair and a loving care to every aspect of our new home. From the outset we challenged Kirk to blend three cultural elements which my wife, Renee, and I love into his design--Island style, Balinese and Japanese. We also wanted the house to be inviting to the touch. In other words, we wanted a huggable house! Kirk gladly took on these architectural challenges and, with his amazing ability to visualize our vague dreams in real three-dimensional space, succeeded masterfully! Many of the skilled craftsmen who worked on our house project confided in us that though they had worked on much 'fancier' homes than ours, it is our home they would most want to live in!
Renee and I could not recommend Kirk Gradin of Banyan Architects highly enough if you are longing to collaborate with an incredible architect who is also an amazing artist and a kind and wonderful human being!
