I’ve lived at Aspire for a few years now and the property is under the best management it’s seen since I’ve been here. Josh is an awesome property manager. He’s personal, remembers you, and takes the time to genuinely care and listen to your concerns as a resident and promptly addresses them or communicates effectively. There are so many basic things that have been rectified since his arrival. Highly recommend leasing here!

I recently moved to Aspire, and I absolutely love it! I made the decision to leave New York and tour the property with Angel. She was incredibly kind, personable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Her professionalism and warmth made a fantastic first impression of the apartments, and I truly feel she embodies the essence of this place. A big thank you to Angel!

If you want to live in misery, this is the perfect place! Everything in the apartment breaks and then they charge you to get it fixed. The front office is lazy and unhelpful. Don’t get a long lease because you won’t be able to get out of it, they said even if someone gets really sick or dies the other roommate is still responsible for the rest of the lease amount to be paid. It smells like weed and there are holes in the walls. They raised our rent $2k (for a 1 bedroom by the way) without telling us too. Really do not recommend

Only good thing was it was close to metro. They opened a food court next to the building and the rent went up. It took almost a year to fix the garage door. The owners didn't want to fix the doors but caved in after all the complaints. 3 different management companies in the 4 years i lived there will tell you enough about the owners.

I have really enjoyed living here at Aspire Apollo! The apartments are so clean and modern. I love how much cabinet space there is in the kitchen and restrooms. There nothing but good people that live here, and every month management throws a fun event to give residents the opportunity to connect. The office staff are all so kind and helpful! If you are military, and stationed at Andrews, you will love the easy less than 10 minute drive!

Pros:
-Literally LUXARY Apartments
-Has anything you can imagine without leaving the apartment complex (Gym, Pool, Tech office, Theater room & more)
-Construction (at the time of writing) for multiple restaurants right next door
-Location is superb. 20 minute drive to the tourist spots in DC. 10 minute drive from the national harbor. 1 minute drive from the DC Metro train station
-Spacious apartments. The apartment I had was everything I want in a house, condensed. Granite countertops, sudo-island kitchen counters, hardwood floor, big bathroom, flows right into the bedroom.
- Everyone is nice to each other. The staff is very caring, residents will actually greet you instead of walking past like you don't exist.
- The building itself I hear was finished in 2015 or so, so everything is updated and new
- Architecture. The building is built on a hill right, but you could be as high as the 3rd floor and still walk out to the courtyard as if it is the ground floor. If you go right downstairs, you would think since you are below then it would be nothing but ground but sure enough a full size pool awaits in the same spot 1 floor below. Its confusing but amazing.

Cons:
**Some speed bumps coming into the parking garage are AGGRESSIVE and unnecessary. I have a lowered car and I scrape the undercarriage of my car when I'm forced to use 1 of the 2 entrances to the parking garage.
**That being said, rarely 1 of the 2 gates to the parking garage fails to open. Rarely does it happen, but it happens.
**As much as I appreciate how secure the apartment is, its tedious and annoying on getting guests to your apartment. They have to roll up to the gate, enter in a code, then once they enter in the code it gives you a phone call. You enter in a number on the phone keypad, they have to park on the top floor, then you got to meet them at the parking garage because no one can enter in the building without the apartment key. I appreciate it, makes me feel safe, but its a double edged sword.
**Paying for amenities that I've never used and cannot take off. This apartment complex has amenities like "Valet Trash". Valet Trash is pretty much setting your trash out at certain days and times for someone else to take my trash to the trash chute. In my case, my apartment was just down the hall from the trash chute. I'm not that lazy, I can take my trash out myself, so why am I paying for this if I'm not going to use it? The answer I got, "We cannot take off this for you because if we were to take it off for you, it would be more expensive for the other people who do use it." $35/mo for Valet Trash and I cant opt out? The apartment complex cares about the group, which is cool that they care, however it isn't entirely fair to the people who wont/don't want to use ______ Amenity.
**I found out that the walls are a little hollow, not completely hollow but you could hear what is going on in say, the kitchen, living room or bedroom in the next apartment over if loud enough of course lol.
**1 Elevator for the whole apartment. I guess you could use the stairs, but when you got hundreds of people going up and down I found myself waiting literally 5+ minutes just to go up 2 floors.

Overall Experience:
Even though my stay wasn't long, I really wish it was. Like I said these apartments are my dream house, just condensed. When I return I definitely will be looking into getting this apartment again. From the jump, everyone was amazed about the pictures I posted of my apartment and it was an amazing experience. Special thanks for Tiara Johnson for handling my move in/move out, cradle to grave. You are one of the few people I know work in customer service, dealing with so many people but still remember faces and names (Even when half of our face is covered lol), really shows that you care rather than just push customers through. Lakeshia as well you've been nothing but helpful to me in the 4 months. 5/5 stars, even though I do have cons about the apartment, they are minor and don't take away from the experience I had, except for the valet trash, sour moment there.

I am beyond grateful for the incredible experience I had at Aspire, all thanks to Brelyn. From the start, she demonstrated exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to assist my sister during a challenging time. So much so, that I am also considering Aspire as a possible new home! Brelyn’s professionalism, empathy, and dedication truly stood out.
