I cannot even begin to tell you what a horrible crooked place to live. I do not think anyone in that office has ever made an actual legitimate transaction in their life. I moved into the "Gardens" in March of 2006, and lived there for 16 years. From the office management to the maintenance department I honestly can't say which area was the worst. I found it strange that only friends and family can even gain employment there. One example I can provide is the office manager when I moved in was named Audrey. Somehow Audrey passed the baton onto her daughter Darlene, then somehow Phyllis became the manager and now Melissa, Phyllis' daughter is running the office. It's a very incestuous environment. Honestly the list goes on and on regarding the fraud that occurs there. I have stated many, many times this place or so called corporation needs to be investigated, a true audit of their record keeping needs to occur. I've attached some pictures so you can see what I am referring to. The parking was a mess around there and more than I can count I was trapped in my own driveway. There used to be weekly yards ales which is against the law. (Baltimore garage sales are only supposed to take place once in a six-month period.) There is an image of a man holding my garden light in his hand, he stole from me on multiple occasions. Armistead knowingly knew he had issues and should have never been allowed to reside within that community. As property management they have a responsibility to our safety. Every single time I went to the office with documentation or proof of what I was alleging absolutely NOTHING was done. At one point I even had to get an attorney. If you are a person that follows the rules and takes care of your property this is NOT the place for you.

Lived here my hole life well my family have great rent when I have issues with my house they get it done most of the time that day. Very nice group of people they treat my aunt and my mom very well they very considerate towards the elderly

Small office. One of the last places to not take auto pay or over the phone payments. During the whole pandemic, you still had to come in and make payments in person. Maintenance is a complete joke. Although they collect at least $318.00 per 1 bedroom home forever. That's right. You never truly own your home. Where does the money go? They find any reason to not replace things they are supposed to. Most areas and homes have original wiring and plumbing. The roads are horrible due to pipes constantly bursting, roads then flooding, while doing a quick pipe fix and patch which is then a pot hole the following year.

If your thinking of buying, it's only good for start up couples, single parents (due to school being in the neighborhood) or people looking to buy and rent the house.

You will never be able to make any real changes to make the home exactly how you would like it to be. Until changes are made at the top this neighborhood will continue to suffer and be a constant money dump.

I have lived here most of my life. You lease the homes for 99 years with a renewable lease. They are something like townhouses but they do have different rules you need to follow. If you are willing to follow their rules and can pass their requirements to buy it is an affordable place to live.

This neighborhood dose not have the best reputation as far as rumors go. However, I have been in and out of this neighborhood many many times visiting friends and family. I have never had any trouble with anyone on any of my visits.

The people treat everyone as though they are the only concern at that time which is by far one of the warmest friendliest attribute an office and it's counterparts could ever have come naturally to them. I feel like I'm home and treated with the utmost respect that makes you feel like family. Not to mention they move heaven and earth feeling you like family no matter the situation. Ican only pray to be able to call Armistead Gardens my Home for quite some time to come. Great work to the main office and especially to the maintenance Dept who is there at your home fixing whatever your problem, accident etc happened to upend your way of life at the moment. They are there with you mere minutes after calling already explaining what has happened how it'll be fixed and how long it'll take. Everyone's do amazing I'm so blessed to call this neighborhood home

They make you pay for maintenance and never fix anything.Anything that they do fix they charge you for it.The neighborhood is full of drug dealers.Not a good place to live at all.
