We have built three homes with different builders through the years. No matter who you build with, problems will arise. Houses are complicated and involve lots of different contractors. The thing to look at is whether the problems get fixed. So here's the deal with Arive:
- Many fantastic floorplans (we built an Aaron)
- You can semi-customize the plans
- Prices for most plan changes and upgrades were reasonable, a few we skipped due to bizarrely high cost
- Design process was great...we worked with Janese, she was the perfect mix of capturing our taste while making great professional design suggestions along the way
- Our agent Courtney was superb, responsive, and helpful throughout
- For us, build quality was pretty good
- Where build quality was a problem, we got almost everything handled before closing or during the 1 year warranty period
- Arive and their contractors were great about fulfilling warranty fixes...some neighbors here had mixed experiences
- Poor quality windows, screens, and window wells which never got taken care of
- Ended up having to restrict one Arive employee (Jed) from trespassing on my property after he gave false information and assessments to a neighbor about our property without our involvement...unapologetic, unprofessional guy
- Overall, there are a few things we'd have liked improved or fixed, but by the end of our build and warranty period, Arive took care of almost every problem...some room for improvement but I personally would use them again based on my experience.

We have loved our experience with Arive Homes! We worked with Abby in the design center and she was AMAZING! This is our first home, so we didn’t really know what to expect or how to build a house, but Abby guided us through the design process and helped us design our dream home! Everyone we’ve worked with at Arive has been so kind and professional. The process has been so easy and straightforward. We’re so grateful Arive is building our dream home for our family!

We worked with Arive to purchase a town home. The process was very smooth! Our initial walk through and final inspection with their Superintendent, Carson, was very easy, thorough and pleasant. The quality of construction was great and we are pleased with our place - it is beautiful! Closing was smooth with their title company, and everything met and exceeded our expectations for Arive turning over this home to us.

We heard about Arive Homes through our agent, and we are so glad we did!! Living on the East Coast and building a home in Utah sounds nerve wracking and overwhelming, but working with Arive has been amazing.
From our first meeting at the design center with Lauren, to the architects, and the many - many emails and texts we have exchanged - they have helped us just become more excited to move into our beautiful new home.
We have appreciated their quick responses to questions, honest answers to difficult questions, as well as the time we needed to make decisions.
The finish options are wonderful, and if they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, they found it!
If the quality of the home matches the quality of the attention and detail we have already received - it will be a forever home indeed!

We have loved working with Arive Homes thus far! We've built and designed a home before, and it was not even close to this smooth and comfortable. They are true professionals. We were lucky enough to get Lauren as our designer. She was amazing and very knowledgeable. You can feel good about building your home with them....Especially if you're lucky enough to design with Lauren. Looking forward to the rest of the process. Absolutely loving our experience so far! We’ve been wanting to build our dream home for the last little bit, but nobody could help us in the exact way that we needed to be helped. To get everything that we wanted it was well over our budget. Arive Has been able to give us everything that we have been looking for and much more and well within budget! Working with Janese in design has been awesome as well. She took our ideas and turned them into a work of art. Looking forward to watching our home be built and for this next stage in life!

Working with Arive was for us a miserable experience. It started with them not making the close date. They had numerous problems left that were called out and didn't end up fixed. They build the entirely wrong fireplace and had to rebuild it while we lived there.

Upon finishing the updates to the fireplace they did nothing to actually clean up after themselves and to this day there is scrapes and paint off our walls they were never willing to fix.

The floor laminate has huge gaps screws are starting to come out of walls and the thing that is the most frustrating of all they their warranty team came to repair stuff ripped up all our carpet because we have a horrible floor creak. He was unable to fix the creak but because it was near when our warranty was ending they now say they won't actually put the carpet back down because now we are out of warranty so we have lived for two years in our new house with all the carpet ripped up.

I don't know if it's just the warranty team or just who was managing our specific build but I'd stay away.
