Do not go with this surveying company! Rude old man that has 0 people skills. Took him 6 months to do the survey because of all the “leaves”. My husband had to find half of the land markings himself and we were still charged full price. Save your money and time and go with a different surveying company.

They got it wrong they came onto my property and I didn’t even hire them. The original steaks from the original survey are now gone. They drove steaks in my front yard busting a waterline and we’re on my property without permission. I never hired them. I never gave them permission to be on my property, they never tagged any trees which means they used electronica equipment which is not precise you’re stating that they’re using a tree as a reference the tree isn’t there anymore. They use the wrong tree and couldn’t tell that that tree was not €100 tree. I will be doing my own investigating never heard of these people I will hire someone from out of town do when I need to be done

Because they got it wrong and tried to give my well to my neighbor my property had already been surveyed years ago when my father purchased it, I knew where my lines were at but because this company messed up my neighbors survey, therefore trying to take our well. I had to get a survey done on my property and the lines were right where I said they were where my father showed me. $1750 it cost me that was unnecessary. This company needs to make this right before we all wind up in court.

My Family and I have had many properties surveyed in the past years by Appalachian Engineering and Surveying. We are absolutely 100% pleased with the professionalism of this company.
Many times when one buys properties, differences can occur with neighbors over
fence lines, etc. I have always been amazed and pleased how Jon Looney works and talks with other landowners to answer any questions they may have. He is an outstanding people person. Appalachian Engineering is our company of choice to get the job done that we know will stand the test of time. I recommend no one else for surveying.

Wouldn't recommend at all. Called last Feb 2023 to get a survey done, they told us it would be in about 2 to 2 1/2 months, well this is July, we followed up with calls to check for progress for three months, never done!
