I had been thinking about a major kitchen renovation for over a year and had a couple of other quotes before calling Mike. He came over the same day and soon after provided a fair quote. I finally decided to move forward and I'm so happy I went with Mike. The work included removing a load bearing wall, moving a window, adding recessed lighting, moving the sink, installing new cabinets, and switching from a gas to induction stove. They started work quickly and finished earlier than expected. Mike and the team were thoughtful and he provided suggestions based on his extensive experience and listened to what I wanted. Mike expertly handled the needed structural repairs to our floor joists and beautifully made multiple cosmetic updates to our 100-year old house. Mike completely transformed our dated kitchen and existing bathroom, and built a brand new in suite bathroom. He also made excellent recommendations for the materials and designs that would work best for our home. Mike is also a skilled carpenter. He customized the crown molding in our kitchen, door trim, and new baseboards to match the home’s original baseboards, which you can no longer purchase in a store. I highly recommend Mike and his company, especially for complex projects. I intend to use Mike for all other large projects in the future.

We had a small bathroom in a colonial style house built in the 40's. It needed to be modernized by someone who is experienced in taking touch complex tasks. Ankuva Construction, LLC came out on top of the various companies that we interviewed. Very prompt, responsive and accurate. The team was very organized and protected our home and work area against debris and damage during construction. They went far and wide to look for hard to find pieces that we needed. They made sure every piece fit nicely and look very good. They worked hard to make sure that we were pleased with the results. Thank you Ankuva for our new modern bathroom.

Mike and his team were life savers. We had hired someone else to do a bathroom remodel and a kitchen remodel/addition. After seeing their work on the bathroom we had to cut ties with that company and luckily I found Mike. He picked up their pieces and we redesigned the kitchen so that it would actually work. The initial design would not pass an engineer review so we worked together to correct that. He was with us every step and readily communicated with us and answered any questions we had. He directed some of our design choices into a better path and we ended up with a gorgeous project. The addition is built like a tank and super solid. He corrected many under built and just odd things from the initial 1950’s build. I highly recommend them and would use him again.
