In the past four years my husband and I have bought and sold homes in California, Delaware, Michigan and North Carolina. Amber is hands down the best realtor that we have had the pleasure of working with.

We first worked with Amber in 2014 when we purchased our first home in Concord and again in 2021 when we sold it. Not only did she make the nerve racking experience of being a first time home buyer easier, but she also took us step-by-step through the process of preparing our house for sale. She provided contractors who did quality work at reasonable prices so that we could sell our home for top dollar. Amber took calls around the clock, eased our minds and really went above and beyond to make our experiences pleasant. When the buyer of our home found a few peas in the freezer that our cleaner had missed, Amber went to the house and cleaned them out. Things that other people might complain about, Amber chuckled at. At one point after our house in California had closed we were staying in an airbnb about an hour away and participating in a remote signing for our new house in Delaware. When the closing documents were accidentally mailed to our former address, Amber went there (with a moment's notice) and waited for them to be delivered, providing us with her office space to sign them in and a notary as well.

Truly, Amber thinks of everything! She cares about her clients, sees them through their transaction with her and beyond. Her incredible attitude, positivity and willingness to bend over backward to make her client's experiences as seamless and wonderful as possible makes what can be a stressful time and far easier one.

Amber is worth double her weight in gold! I wish she could practice in every state!

Choosing Amber Hom Real Estate, and Amber particularly proved to be a mistake and waste of time. Honestly, the mentality and temperament of Amber, once challenged, proved to be dishonest, lack accountability, lack concern for truth, lack concern for her client's needs and concerns. Who needs that? I do not argue that others have had positive experiences so at the very least we can say that there is not consistency in her performance. Also most people who are unhappy with services do not leave reviews, while business owners frequently request that clients leave positive reviews.

The following is a true and honest, however, brief account of my experience with Amber.

Long ago, Amber had assured me that, in return for the listing, she would assist me in planning and preparing my investment property for sale. I had to first evict the tenant but did so eventually. I had told Amber that as soon as I had gained occupancy, I needed to have a handyman, a carpet installer and anything else I might need ready to go. She received the keys on Thursday and assured me that I could count on her.

Her Handyman was then, after inspection, supposed to have an estimate ready for me the next day (Friday). It is Tuesday, and nothing has been done; not estimates for carpet, not an estimate from the handyman, nor even the updated comp's I had asked for (via email). Amber only collected the keys and did nothing more.

What I expected is that she keep her promise and be on-top of things as she assured me she would, making sure that not a day was lost.

However, today (Tues), after receiving no estimates or updates after the weekend when they needed to be ready, I contacted her. When I began to express that I was unhappy with the lack of progress, and being lied to about when I'd see estimates, she immediately interrupted me, telling me that she doesn't like the negative vibe and that maybe she's not the right agent for me. Lets be clear, she NEVER asked to know the specific reasons for my complaint because she never let me state them. She continued to speak over me to make it difficult if not impossible to get a word in.

The truth did not matter, nor was she interested in anything outside of her own comfort zone. There was no sign of accountability or sign of maturity and professionalism. It was shocking to see in a grown woman.

Amber is not an agent that consistently and truly cares about her clients, the truth, about growth and improvement, or about fairness.

Do yourself a favor and find a Broker that actually keeps their word, that has integrity (Remember Integrity?) and doesn't dishonor her word or break her promises. With Amber, I was reminded that there are people with very low standards that only think they are great, but when it really matters, they are failures.

Hello all just wanted to share a quick review about my experience with having Amber Hom as my real estate agent. To start off I was referred to Amber from a trusted coworker of mine. With that being said, after talking to friends and family members it seemed that everyone had “their” go to real estate agent that was allegedly the best. After choosing Amber, I realized I made the best decision.

Amber exceeded my expectations and was awesome! This was my first time buying a home and there were a lot of unknowns and questions that I had along the way. Amber was easy to contact and was prompt with her responses, plus being understanding. To sum it up, if you want someone in your corner looking out for your best interests, Amber should be your go to gal. For instance, during the process Amber and I looked at multiple houses and we put very strong offers in on houses that ended up selling for way outside my budget. Amber was more than patient with me and helped me through the process without getting discouraged. She told me during the process that, “If the seller didn’t accept your offer, that house wasn’t for you.” Well Amber was right because now I am the owner of my dream home. I will be nothing but honest, I’m a 35-year-old man and I love my parents. With that being said having Amber on my side made me feel like I had another mother in my corner looking out for my best interests! On a scale of 1-5 stars, Amber gets a 10, end of story. I will refer everyone to Amber when it comes to buying a home, end of story.

When we started working with Amber and her team, we immediately noticed that other realtors and loan officers had such wonderful things to say about Amber. We knew Amber and her team were great, but to have a great reputation in the real estate business only confirmed what we already knew.
