DO NOT BUY WITH THIS BUILDER!
MOLD IN NEW BUILD HOMES!!
I am a first time homebuyer. Within 7 months of living in my home MOLD was found. It’s now been 3 months and this issue is still not fully done being taken care of. Walls were ripped out , put back in crooked, fridge having to be placed in my living room, no washer dryer for months.. (There’s no laundry mat in maricopa, closest one is 30 min away) I’ve had multiple people come out and look at my home because it was extremely hot, come to find out my inspector found out my insulation is only 3 inches tall when supposedly we were given 9-12 inches. In this Arizona heat that is unacceptable especially with 2 young children and pets. I also just found out my entire tile needs to be replaced due to the poor work that was done, All the granite needs to be removed and replaced. There are multiple other issues in my home that will most likely never be addressed or take another 3 months to address. There are neighbors who have their house on the market due to similar issues. Starlight chooses the cheapest options when it comes to choosing what warranty trades come out to fix the issue. Customer service is terrible and chooses to not help anyone. I’ve been patient long enough all of this has been going on since April, I am not willing to give them anymore time. I will continue to make it heard and post more photos if thats what it takes for the builder to have any sense of urgency for this situation. Please make the smart choice and choose a different community/builder for your home. Unfortunately we are stuck here.

Y’all need to update your Google photo. Looks like a desert wasteland with a sign and it ain’t even for you. It says aw lol. Thanks Ean and Carlson for teaching me about the home buying process. They need to teach that in schools! Hoping y’all get some grass over here in the community quick!

My new home was also hit by the storm, but the builder actually sent out the construction and sales guys to help us clean the mess the morning after. Not sure why anyone would blame them for 80+ mph winds. Arizona isn't used to hurricanes... The construction dude with the new york accent helped us with our house. Insurance is paying for all the repairs minus the deductible and the sales dude gave us paint and stucco guys. I commend the them.

Got sold a huge 5 bedroom by the sales guy Ian. I make decent money, but didn’t think I could afford a new home. Ian broke everything down for me. We took a tour when the home we really liked was only like halfway completed so I was skeptical about the final product. The day we got our keys, the home was immaculate. This house is my absolute dream home now.

Finally got the house I wanted, location and elevation. Ian was on top of things and sent updates. We've had a few hiccups after move in, but the super(marc) has been awesome and making sure things are fixed in a timely manor! The community is very quiet and the clear night skies are breathtaking. Thanks Starlight for helping us get into our home ?

Have been in the home for about 5months. Roofs were destroyed thru the neighborhood. It is sad that it truly shows that these homes are not built at the utmost best that roofs cannot even withstand a bad storm. No one expects to have to pay thousands of dollars to have their rooftop repair in less than a years time. After giving $15000 of cash as a down payment have to pay to fix my roof cause the builder says it was god made. God sees everything. Do not be surprise if this builder goes under for being dishonest as it was said they fix/repair anything in a years time. But they are using God to say it was not their fault.

They do not care about the condition they leave the homes and don’t fix their mistakes in a timely manner.
