Marcos Santa Ana and the Alloi team completed the remodel of my 1940s 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom home. Alloi’s well-thought out, simple, and efficient design is what drew me in to reach out to them for the project. I needed a re-design of my home’s front façade, remodel of the existing bathroom, a master bedroom and bathroom addition, and landscape design. Marcos and his excellent team, including Molly Liu, Eddie Valle, Bassem Dawood, and Marko Boules, were experts at their craft and integrated the design and construction process from start to finish to arrive at an amazing result that transformed my home into a modern place that can carry on for many more years to come for my family and I to enjoy and is truly an inspiring gem in the neighborhood. Alloi was the perfect team to work with, and I am truly grateful for their vision, knowledge, expertise, attention to details, the excellent communication and trust they established with me as a client, and the great care they put into their work.

I had met with a number of architects and contractors regarding my home remodel before I found Alloi. I honestly did not think anyone could deliver a cohesive/functional design that would address the challenges of the existing home. I decided to move forward with a conceptual study with Alloi as I felt Marcos really understood the challenge and the aesthetic I was looking for.

What an incredible uniquely personal experience Marcos and the Alloi team gave us as we embarked on our adventure putting a master plan together for our home. They were very thorough paid close attention to details and really listened to what our needs were for our project, which reflected with each iteration. They really took the master plan to a level we never could have imagined.

Recently I purchased a 1928 "fixer" in Los Angeles. I knew when I saw this little 800 sq ft cottage it needed a ton of work but with the right Architect my dream home could be achieved.
Marcos has been able to redesign our 2/1 bedroom home into a a stylish and functional 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath while keeping its original and unique character.

My wife and I hired Alloi for a number of jobs on our property, including soundproofing and installing new floors, fixing electrical panel issues, emergency plumbing work, installing a dishwasher, and installing a new deck and stairs. Marcos was extremely helpful in explaining our options and helping us to decide on the best course of action in each case. Not only that, but Marcos personally followed up on all of the work to make sure every detail was perfect and to our liking. I have used Alloi Architecture for several home repair/improvement projects and have always been impressed with the results. Marcos has put together a team of contractors who are honest, diligent, and do excellent work. Alloi helped repair my 1926 Spanish style home in West Adams, fixing water damage, installing a new faucet in my kitchen, re-grouting tile, patching and painting walls, and most recently flawlessly patching my original hardwood floor where a floor heater used to be. I honestly cannot tell where the patch was by looking at the floor! They did a beautiful job.

I work in an office on the Westside, and I can't be home every time I need work done on the house, but I have no qualms about letting Marcos and his contractors work on the house while I'm away.

I have some more home improvement projects in mind, and I will definitely be calling Alloi again.
