German took a job to do drawings and acquire permits for my home in DC in March 2023. He took payment upfront and proceeded to make excuses and lie his way up to September 2023 when my contractor and I finally confronted him for not having completed the job. This was after multiple months of telling me he was "almost done" and that the permits were "in issuance". This man is a con artist and will take your money and delay, delay, delay until the cows come home. When I finally terminated his contract, I had to get the Attorney General of DC involved. They were only able to give me a fraction of what I paid German but I suppose something is better than nothing. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and other agencies about German's dishonest actions. I posted a review about German on Angi a month ago but German had the response taken down as he said he had never done business with me. The world should know what kind of "professional" this guy is. Beware - he lies and will give SOB stories all day long. Good luck getting him to finish a project. It took German 7 months to provide me with deficient plans for my project that were completely amateur, and the DOB of DC had a field day reviewing and trying to give feedback.

Update as of 11/27: I had an architect take over this job after German. They deemed the plans German provided to be completely insufficient and would need to be redone in their entirety. The documents he provided me were essentially worthless.
