Decided to take a drive with my wife from Mystic to check these guys out. What a fabulous shop and a wonderful staff. I knew once we walked in the door that my wife would gleefully walk out with the purchase of a new machine. Not only are their prices terrific, you get professional service, on the spot training of how to use the machine and you are welcome to return any time for more instructions ask questions and more.

Couldn't have asked for a better first time shopping experience at Blaine’s. I walked in looking for a sewing machine with no clue where to start. Pamela listened to what I was looking for, my budget, and showed me around several machines that fit the bill. After picking the one I wanted she walked me through the return policy, extra perks of the purchase, and gave me some suggestions on other supplies I would need. I can’t recommend Blaine’s enough and will be returning for all future sewing project purchases!

This is such a great shop. After only a couple of visits, they know my name and are very helpful. I appreciate excellent service and most important, knowledge of their products. I had to ask them for an old record for an insurance claim and they were on it and within minutes they pulled up an invoice for me. Everyone was so helpful. My first Bernina was purchased 20 years ago from a great shop in Pennsylvania and I thought I would be hard pressed to find another shop like that again as I would only do my business with them. Well Blaine’s has met the bar. Doing business the old fashioned way with “the customer comes first” attitude.

Seemed like a friendly place for sewing needs. Purchased my first machine and staff was helpful. The issue occurred when they wouldn’t honor my free 1 year cleaning because I was slightly outside the window. There was an extenuating health issue (cancer) that prevented me from dropping my machine off by the anniversary date. I was 8 or 9 weeks past the date and I explained how my focus was on cancer survival, rather than getting my machine cleaned. Seems reasonable, doesn’t it? The manager/owner did not care, stating she stands by the policy because she treats customers equally and it wouldn’t be fair. I recommend you support a business that values patrons as people, rather than just customers. If you decide to purchase a machine here, be sure that cancer doesn’t disrupt your life around the anniversary date or you’ll miss out on your free cleaning.

Amazing. All I can say is amazing
Ive been wanting a straight stitch machine and I am now the proud owner of a baby lock accomplish 2. I went in looking at a juki they let me see and use the different machines to compare them in what I wanted. I'm so happy with this machine.. thank you all for your patience .

Showed new machines today. All very good machines. When I decided not to buy, no disappointment was displayed. I got a different machine from a different source. I took it to Blaine to check out. We got minimal service done. The new machine runs great. No hassle. No problems for not buying their machine. Taught me all kinds of things song the way. I felt I could trust them. I knew I was in the presence of professionals when they rejoiced with me that I found a new sewing machine for me. Really a very impressive day. Thanks Susan for being so nice.
