The service provided by Andover Eye Associates is unmatched. The entire staff are always kind and patient with my particularly needs and go above and beyond to provide a great experience from eye exam to picking out lenses and getting fitted for contacts. The front desk is knowledgable and friendly and great at communicating important information in a timely manner. For sure one the best providers of optical needs if not one of the best medical offices Iโ€™ve ever been to. I feel comfortable and safe with Andover Eye Associates and trust every member of their team has my best interest in mind. I will be back!

This is more like 3 and a half stars but I had upper eyelid surgery with Dr. Townsend back in February and it's been enough time for my eyelids to heal but they're the same as if I didn't get the surgery at all. The surgery went well and my eyelids healed good, most of the scarring is gone which is good but my left eyelid is still droopy and it bothers me doing everyday things. I do have an appointment regarding this in September so hopefully he can fix this or maybe do another surgery focusing more on maybe fixing the muscle in my eyelid. I'm staying hopeful.

I have been a patient of Andover eye for many years. I love the office and have had great experiences. More than the office the staff in the frame shop are fantastic. Jane is super helpful and makes sure I leave with a frame that fits my needs and looks sharp. Her and Tim are always full of smiles and make getting glasses a joy.

One of the friendliest, well-organized, and efficient doctorsโ€™ offices Iโ€™ve ever been to (re: the entire team!). And, Dr. G was incredibly personable, thoughtful, and attentive. You can tell she really cares about her patients and isnโ€™t jaded by the job - for her, it really seems to be a profession that she cares deeply about.

Andover Eye Associates' office staff that are poorly trained and violate the HIPPA law.by sharing patient information with all non medical staff in their office are allowed to behave like this by the owner(s) of the practice. They also charge $40.00 for your eye glass prescription as punishment to force you to buy your glasses from them. As no charge applies when you use their practice to purchase glasses. Whether Medicare allows the charge or not it is an option for a practice to charge it. I never in my lifetime and I am quite mature, paid for my eye glass prescription from my eye Dr. Andover Eye Associates with it's unprofessional practices towards patients of other Drs. who sub contract space from them, by not allowing patients' appts. to move forward as planned with their appts. and suggest their physicians in the place of the sub contracted physician is incomprehensible. Also since they canceled my appt. with my sub contracted physician, I keep getting automated messages reminding me of the appt. they canceled, to be rescheduled, as well as another automated message received on Sunday May 4, 2025 at morning at 9:02 am in the morning telling me to call to rearrange my appt. that they canceled. What can one say......they simple do not know what they are doing!?! And obviously do not care about patient care.

I love all the staff at this office. As a mother of six children, and in a family with several eye issues, I've entrusted our ophthalmology care to Andover Eye Associates for 23 years. From annual checkups, glasses, and a corneal abrasion; to diabetic follow ups, retinal concerns, and dry eye; these doctors are not only skilled, but friendly and compassionate. Their resumes definitely impress, too! The front office staff is efficient, yet greets us by name. They have bent over backwards to help us at each appointment. Highly HIGHLY recommend! Addition April 2025: They served my mom living with dementia far and above any other doctor's office, in compassion, in speaking to her, not just me; in professional care and responsibility, in accommodating her needs-- the technician, Dr. Terry Chin, and the check-in/check-out staff-- everyone operated as though they'd been trained especially for this unique challenge. They are the best!
