I was waiting on a security deposit from a 3 month lease from a property on Chapparal Drive. Julie Johnson said I would be receiving it soon without mentions of deductions. After couple weeks, the deposit came back with hundreds of dollars of deductions related to cleaning fees, lawn maintenance on a lawn of rocks and unused appliances not moved back to their original position on the counter. The place was actually cleaner than we left it. Cleaning and some minor weeds was not worth the hundreds of dollars in deductions. I believe they just wanted to withhold the money because they knew we were not going to be re-signing with them and from out of state for a traveling healthcare contract. The lease signed was refundable security deposit which cleaning, and “redecorating” fees are non deductible, but an addendum to lawn maintenance was added and they used this to enact fees. The deduction for “putting items back in the kitchen that were moved” doesn’t sound very official. No items were damaged and everything was well respected. When asking Julie about these deductions, her tone was no longer nice as I my time being her client was over and she was no longer benefiting from my business. I am currently having all the signed lease documents reviewed professionally to see if there’s any legal action that could be taken. I would be careful with these small town real estate agents who only look out for themselves and do not actually care about their clients.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to buy or sell homes. Keller Williams is the BEST! Friendly agents, ambient atmosphere. And the support staff is amazing! Julie Johnson is absolutely the worst property manager. You cannot get a hold of her when you need to. She says certain things will happen that do not. And then she gives you a poor reference when you try to move to a new place. By far worst rental experience I’ve ever had.

Connie ! She’s the best ! I was 21 years old when I purchased my first ever home with her . She was great, it was such a great first experience with Connie didn’t feel pressured at all which for me helped me so much on making such a big decision. Was so patient with me and took me to see all the homes I asked to see. Gave me such great advice throughout the entire process and answered my phone calls any time of the day.
