What a great experience! There are several small museums for free including one inside an actual train. All were interesting and educational; however, the model train museum was absolutely AWESOME. I was immediately blown away at how big the exhibit was. There was a component of magic in the air as I carefully and intentionally viewed each, very detailed, scene. You can tell there was a lot of effort and care put into it. There were even interactive components! There are donation receptacles throughout which gives you a special thanks when you donate-which was a nice surprise and made it feel more special.
However, this is a free exhibit and I highly recommend visiting!

It was misleading and overpriced for what they had available. There was NO CANDY handed out to the kids as advertised. All they had was the carousel, the train you ride, and the toy train display that only half worked. I feel that I was cheated and my son was cheated. Drove 45 min for something we could have missed. Would like a refund for my 7-year-old son that we chose to come here rather than traditional trick or treating. We will never come back and advise others to find other options for their kids

Not a huge place but plenty of space for a quick train ride and trip around the carousel. Great for easy bday party for kids. Nice sized playground and around Halloween they have a great setup for the train. Easy going day trip for the kids!

Very nice setup and great price. Very informed and friendly staff. Great service and nice weather when they open. Very nice historical artifacts and kid friendly (except gir model train exhibit). Good parking.

My son was very pleased. The steamer trains weren't running, but the model trains indoors were impressive. Many scales and awesome set up. We road the train twice. They were setting up for Halloween, and it was intriguing enough to convince us to return to see the spooky.

As a railroad fan, I love this place! The train ride is fun, and the model railroad building is great! The presidential Pullman rail coach that carried 4 presidents and where the NORAD defense treaty was signed is an amazing piece of history. The entire park is a lovely and fun place for both kids and kids at heart. Highly recommend!
