I am currently moving my home of 15+ years and of course, have that many years + of old furniture, knick knacks, rugs, cardboard etc. that needed to be removed from my home. Honestly, my husband has a tendency to hoard, and my garage was literally piled to the ceiling.
We originally called 1-800-GOT-JUNK and were extremely disappointed. They showed up with the "biggest" truck they had, about the smallest size U-haul you can rent, one guy got out and just started haphazardly throwing items in. My husband assisted the entire time, while another employee just sat in the truck. They made no attempt to condense and seem to go out of their way to take as little as possible. All told, they charged me almost $700 and barley made a dent in my junk pile. I stumbled across Egale Hauling online, and since I didn't see any reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but I figured they couldn't be any worse than GOT JUNK. I called and spoke to Chuck, the owner. He was very friendly and told me all the things they could do to assist. He even went out of his way to make a next day appointment for us as we were in a hurry to get everything out. To make a long story short, Chuck showed up the next day with three of his employees, who were all very friendly and professional. They brought a GIGANTIC 40 yard trailer and cleared my entire garage out as well as furniture items from in my home and backyard in 30mins. It was easily 10x the amount of stuff that GOT JUNK took. He also only charged me $450. No joking, this would have cost me over $6000 with the other company. I'm kicking myself for not calling them in the first place. If you have junk you need removed, this company is the only place you need to call, they are amazing!
