We had an absolutely great experience working with Prestin Ravid Architects. We hired Eyal for a full interior remodel and addition to our house, and he consistently exceeded our expectations. We are first-time home buyers embarking on a substantial project with structural changes, and he made the process as simple and straightforward as possible.

We tried to work with another well-known architectural firm in the Bay Area but after six months of painfully slow communication and frustration with the lead architect not understanding our preferences or project vision, we decided it was time to look elsewhere. We were referred to Eyal by another homeowner who worked with them and promptly made the switch after hearing the terrific reviews.

He was always available to answer questions and responded to emails within hours, which is rare and invaluable when working with architects. He brought in trusted colleagues to make fast progress with surveying, structural engineering, and energy needs. He is very efficient with knowledge of city permitting process and regulations and our permitting process was smooth and went much faster than expected.

When we decided to venture on our home addition project in Los Gatos we must have interviewed a dozen architects. We chose to work with Eyal and team and couldn't be happier with our decision. We're moving in this month and are incredibly satisfied with the result!

At our first meeting after signing Eyal prepared multiple layout plans for us to choose from, and even created 3D renderings for us to be able to visualize them. He thought of things we’d never be able to imagine, like the various angles of the vaulted ceiling, where and how many lights we should install, etc. He was very receptive to feedback and helped incorporate our never ending stream of ideas into the plans. Afterwards he compiled the plans into a packet to be submitted to the city for permits. After the city approved the permits we opted for Eyal to continue working with us through construction. He ended up being a lifesaver because we encountered numerous unforeseen issues. We realized at the end that a home addition project is a series of difficult and permanent decisions, and having a professional like Eyal is a huge resource to rely on to ease that burden.

Overall, Eyal was all that we could have asked for in an architect. He was fast, knowledgable, and thoroughly detailed oriented. Our house is our biggest investment and we’re glad we picked somebody who could help us elevate it!

We purchased our home with the intention of adding a second story, which was a decision that we knew meant major renovations and planning. We spent 2 years planning and searching for an Architect and Builder that we felt like we could trust and partner with. Working with Eyal is the best choice we could have made!! He listened to our vision and ideas, added in recommendations that I hadn't thought of, maintained the visual look and feel I was going for, and truly cares about the people who will live in the spaces he designs. It's been such a pleasure to work with him and it's taken so much of the stress out of this project. I honestly don't think we would have gone through with the build if we hadn't met him. Eyal did an amazing job! We never loved our house so much! Of course, the contractor did it very well too but his work was based on the Eyal's project. All documentation was clear so the general contractor almost made no mistakes. Now we have a beautiful house with a beautiful extra dwelling. Just need to earn some money to start working on a new project with Prestin Ravid Architects.

We were fortunate to work with Eyal as our architect. He’s passionate, caring, detail-oriented and has an artist eye that definitely shows through. His amazing design created us a beautiful house without compromising on function. The rare thing is when we disagree on certain details, he is very diplomatic but firm in telling us what his reason is behind it. Even if we disagree in the beginning, often we often came around to his thinking and were so glad we did. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
