Cory Walker of Walks Studio is IMO the finest architect in Los Angeles today. His knowledge of codes, engineering, and design are second to none! We commissioned Cory to remodel (basically) redesign our Maine home- and are absolutely blown away by the end result!

Cory brought our project to life by asking great questions and pushing the design to meet our needs. He didn’t focus on superfluous, he focused on purpose.

His business ethics and desire to surpass our needs were not lost on Mary Beth and Myself. Cory always put us and the project first!

I’ll ask a question: How many architects would learn and lean in to build a structure that federates with Maine Coastal rules ! Cory did! He protected our interest and the costal codes perfectly. Cory balance so much- but his skills drove immense success.

If you have never built a home or had an architect involved- take it from Us, you will never work with a more capable and creative architect than Cory! Period….

We were so please with Cory and walks Studio - that the guest room is officially called Cory’s Corner. After this successful design-plan- and build we told Cory that he is part of our family and is always welcome in his manifestly powerful home that he conceived in a lovely part of coastal Maine!

His immersive virtual walkthrough design process really helped us understand and visualize what our new office is going to be like prior to construction. Cory has a good eye for design, he guided us through the materials selection process and help picked out natural wood, stone materials and paint colors that make our new space harmonious and welcoming. Whatever we tasked Cory, he gets it done beautifully and promptly. He is professional yet amicable and easy to work with. I have had the pleasure of having Cory at Walks Studio work on three projects over the past five years. The first project was an outdoor kitchen and bar project set into a hillside that required planning, design and engineering and the result was incredible. Everyone we have over immediately is drawn to the creative design and shares their envious compliments with us. Our second project with Cory was a 15 foot high living room wall that ended up with a design of three panels with two reveals along with cabinets where the majority of the depth of the cabinets are concealed inside the wall. That design by Cory has everyone talking when they see it. And our latest design by Walks Studio is redesigning our home's interior paint colors, flooring, fireplace mantels, etc. Cory has been a delight to work with. He listens carefully, pays attention to the details and is very easy to work with. Whenever our next project comes along, we will definitely use Cory at Walks Studio. But, then we were referred to Cory Walker and Walks Studio. We were totally blown away.
