Tim "Fish-Bowl" Golba appears to be an absolute genius at designing homes without any thought of privacy, for his client or their new neighbours. Drive by his latest creation in the new cramped Turk development off Los Altos Drive and marvel at his comprehensive accomplishment! This new home is another fine example of living in a fish bowl. You must see it to believe his incredible talent.

I have had the distinct pleasure of working with the folks at Golba Architecture several times and each experience is amazing. The entire team is incredibly talented, creative and so knowledgeable about key items like building codes, zoning issues and especially with how to draw a building that can be built to last! They even did all the construction administration and saved me all the headaches with my contractor. From start to finish is was not only easy but it was FUN as their whole team are just plain easy to work with and make the whole building process a breeze!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Tim for over 17 years. He helped design a home addition for my wife and I in La Jolla back in 2003. Over the last 10 years I have worked on several projects with Tim and his team. Tim has designed many multimillion dollar homes homes and everyone has loved his designs. Tim is my go to architect for information on coastal commission projects, hillside projects, remodels, new construction and building codes in general. He keeps current on all the latest building code changes and always offers help with no ego involved. I cant say enough nice things about Tim and his team.
